At KELP we take our time to make sure the food that goes on your plate is a fresh and local as possible. We source our seafood to be specifically Scottish and sustainable. We pride ourselves on using local suppliers for all our food. The fish people supply our fresh seafood daily. Our bread comes from Soja bakehouse, a family owned bakery in Cumbernauld. Our meat comes from ABR butchers, based in Bearsden.
Our executive chef, Christopher Hutchison, creates amazing, innovative dishes to be enjoyed and shared with friends and loved ones. We now have an AA rosette for 2023/2024 to highlight his and the teams amazing work. We are located on Cowcaddens Road, just around the corner from our sister restaurant, Ardnamurchan Restaurant and Bar and a stones throw from the theatre royal. Perfect for a meal before a show. Relax in our modern, airy restaurant and watch the chefs work in the open kitchen. Our signature dish is our crab doughnut, you'll be amazed!

Food was delicious and here comes the but, but the plates are very small. Yes they are called small plates but smoked trout was less than starter size in a lot of places & 3 scallops with a £4 supplement on top is just too much. Would be back in a heartbeat if it was more value for money as that chef can cook

My family from Canada was visiting Scotland for 2 weeks. This was our last night together and last meal - they all agreed and said it was the best they had the entire trip! Lovely service and atmosphere and truly delicious food. Thank you!

I have been a few times to Kelp and the food and service has always been first class. Tonight was no exception . Also had the additional bonus of being given an extra small plate of Mussels with chorizo which was exceptional. The staff were very helpful and friendly. If you enjoy eating fish I can thoroughly recommend Kelp.

Our party of 6 had a delightful evening at KELP. We shared some starters, and each small plate did very well as a meal for one. Two of us sampled three small plates and it was all delicious! Great, fresh seafood presented beautifully. Wonderful friendly service - very helpful in choosing a whisky for us as well. Small restaurant - make reservations for a large party!

We had a lovely meal at Kelp, service was very friendly and the market menu was very good and very reasonable. Thanks to the team at Kelp for a lovely evening !

Excellent meal - one of the best dinners I have had in my several years in Glasgow. On the pricier side but the food was worth the money. Looking forward to returning soon.
