Located in the heart of historic Fairfax City, Kelly's Oyster House & Bar offers fresh, vibrant sea fare from the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay. Situated just across the street from the City of Fairfax's courthouse and two blocks from the town square, Kelly's is the perfect restaurant for all occasions. Whether you're grabbing a drink with friends or celebrating a birthday, wedding, or anniversary, we at Kelly's are excited to see you!

Kelly's boasts two cozy front dining rooms, as well as a large "Maine" bar and an oyster bar. On warmer days, our covered front patio is open to walk-ins. Furry friends are invited to join us in our outdoor space, but we ask that they stay leashed and with their owners at all times.

Kelly's is owned and operated by Bill Hamrock and was established in the spring of 2024, and is a sister restaurant to Hamrock's Restaurant in Fairfax City.

    We had a quiet weekend lunch at Kelly's and enjoyed it very much. The she crab soup was a hit as were the corn/red pepper hush puppies. We opted for sandwiches (chicken salad and grilled salmon BLT) that were extremely generous. The sides (garden salad and French fries) were also generous. A carry out box was required. The service was delightful and parking is on-site.

    Suggest a sign indicating the location of the parking lot be posted as patrons of the restaurant often miss the parking lot and become frustrated driving around to find it.

    First time visiting this restaurant. The service was good. The food was good. The they were knowledgeable about food allergies presented at the table. Look forward to visiting again when we’re back in the area.

    Had an enjoyable lunch outside. Oysters Rockerfeller, gosh puppies, and fire racket shrimp were excellent. The she crab soup wasn't hot.

    We wanted to try this new restaurant because we liked it's sister Hamrock's up the block. We sat outside and had a lovely evening. The mussels were excellent (the white wine sauce version) and everything else was good as well.

    This new restaurant seems to need more time to get service up to needed standards. The oysters were delicious and we will try again another time.

    We had a great experience at Kelly’s!! Oysters were good but the mussels were even better. Huge beer selection and IPA’s and great cocktails.

    We had the oysters and mussels. Both were excellent. Need to work on the service, which was slow. Had to ask for water three times.
