The food was good, some items were a bit fishy but the service amazing. Our waiter was incredible, super nice and made the best suggestion for dessert:) I would go back again

Everything we tried was delicious. Our favorites were the tuna tiradito and classic caviche. We will definitely be going back!

I hate writing such a negative review (I never write reviews) but with such great food, it was a disappointment that the service and ambience were so bad and really think management should know. The music was way too loud for a conversation at a 6 pm dinner. We asked for the music to be turned down which only happened temporarily. Even worse was the service. We felt rushed constantly with different servers and waitstaff continually interrupting us to ask if we were finished when it was clear that we weren’t (we had full glasses of wine/cocktails remaining and plates full of food). It was like we couldn’t stop between bites to have a conversation. This started after only an hour or less into the meal. We could barely hear the server with the music so loud. To top it off, once we finally relented and said we were done, our server comes over and asks if we were ready for the check. No offer of dessert or coffee. We asked about dessert, were told there weren’t menus and he rattled off 3 desserts which we could really hear because the music was so loud. We were so annoyed that we just asked for the check and went to Jeni’s for ice cream. We left the restaurant after 1.5 hour, so a respectable amount of time. And it’s not like we weren’t eating a drinking, it was a $360 tab for 3 people. While we loved the food, we won’t be back unless their service improves.

Dinner on 9/18/24 I had an incredible dining experience. Celebrated my birthday there and it was truly the perfect birthday. Group of 4 girls. We ordered the best on the menu and had our own cocktails. The service and cleanliness was 10/10. Thank you Robert (manager) for the nice surprise. But also our server. He was so attentive and so was the support staff! Thank you all!!!!!!

Our third visit to Kayao and we simply continue to be impressed. Reception and outdoor table prep were all handled beautifully. Our Server, David S, was warm and informative making our foursome welcome/comfortable - he also made some excellent recommendations for the food. Everything from the tuber chips to the duck was wonderful and perfectly paced. Of course, the nicely prepared Pisco Sours were flowing all evening. We'll be back!

My sister and I had a lovely time at Kayao. The food was sublime, I enjoyed every dish we had; the ceviche was just how I have at my Peruvian auntie and that arroz con mariscos yummm. The drinks we so very delicious. I look forward to next time!
