This was our first time at this restaurant. The interior is beautiful and spotlessly clean! Our meals were fabulous, especially mine (crawfish etouffee appetizer and shrimp and grits entree were as good as in New Orleans)! The price was right given the high quality of the food. The service was excellent as well (our server was Angela). The beer list was outstanding and included several selections that I drank during my Army years in Germany. We shall return!

The restaurant was so quaint and historical and it was decorated so beautifully. The food was delicious but the rock and roll music playing in the dining room was very loud and annoying. It would have been nicer to hear quiet smooth jazz or easy listening music. The music would’ve been more appropriate for a bar, not a cozy restaurant…definitely didn’t fit.

We had an absolutely awesome experience! Shari was our waitress and she could not have been more accommodating to everyone at the table. She made sure everyone understood their dish that was being ordered & gave suggestions if there were concerns & substitutions were needed because of health issues. She was attentive that we had a birthday celebration and brought the dessert out with a candle without being prompted to do so! And everyone enjoyed what they ordered- food was delicious!

Great service and food. Asked for a booth and was given one….. wonderful atmosphere. Took a friend from out of state there, and they loved it

We went to Kaufman for a birthday dinner and the overall experience was not great. Our server was great, she was pleasant and patient with us and our 2 kids. It was crowded and had to wait to get a table even with reservations. The table provided itself was small and it had barely any space to keep 3 appetizers. The food was 'Meh' and the drinks were overpriced. I normally go for an 'Old Fashioned' expecting one cannot screw a simple drink. Mine came with no garnish and was just bitter, with no hint of sweetness. The smoked wings in the Appetizer were good, but the Hummus was coarse we found half-broken beans, and the Corn & Bacon Risotto was congealed and not creamy & loose. No bread was provided at the table. The Halibut Entree was bland, Brussel sprouts were not charred but rather looked & tasted boiled, and there were no sweet potato strings. The Eichner Farm Chicken Entree was good and would recommend.!

Our meals were excellent! All four of us enjoyed a delicious sandwich or dinner entree. We will be back!

We started with calamari which was a little heavy with sauce but tasted excellent. I could have kept on eating it… my husband had grilled shrimp which he enjoyed a lot, I tried the poutine and was a bit disappointed. The meat was superb. They should have served that alone with a dab of gravy and vegetables and I would have been much happier. The potatoes, cheese and kale mixture that came out underneath the meat was cold in places, soggy, and way over salted. No one tested this before it left that kitchen, I can assure you this! The server gave us excellent service when we arrived, but once our meal arrived, she disappeared, never asked me if there was a reason most of the food on my plate was still there, and took a very long time to give us our check in the end. It seemed her time was being divided between two rooms and she was not able to keep track of status on what was going on in our room, at all.
