Welcome to Kapa Hale!

Kapa Hale has a modern influence on Hawai'i Regional Cuisine. We promote local products and combine them with familiar ethnic influences that showcase a cuisine that can only be found in today's Hawai'i.

We can help to celebrate life's special events -- whether it's a large party or an intimate prix-fixe menu. We can accommodate different styles of events -- cocktail reception, sit-down family style menus, etc. Chef Keaka Lee was recently recognized as a James Beard semifinalist for Best Chef in the Northwest and Pacific. And finalist for the Vegetarian category for the local Hale 'Aina Awards by Honolulu Magazine.

We're located next to Olive Tree Cafe, outside of Kahala Mall. We have a small, private parking lot.

This place is AMAZING!!! The Palo-ma cocktail was the best drink I’ve ever had in my life, the naan bread curry appetizer was phenomenal, the grilled cornbread and pumpkin bread were yummy, my kalo moco was delicious, and everyone in my party absolutely LOVED their meals!! Our server was also excellent and very upbeat and friendly. I highly highly recommend this place!!! Also, the prices are so very reasonable for the value you’re getting!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!!!!

I love having brunch here and had always had the Shroom melt, and today, I reluctantly couldn’t pass up the haupia pancakes. Kapa Hale did not disappoint and I found the pancakes to be very light and fluffy and the haupia sauce had the perfect amount of sweetness.

Chef Keaka’s food continues to be consistent and very good! Love their pumpkin bread and naan appetizer!

Food and service was amazing. Love the changes with new items on the menu and the favorites that are still there. Perfect mix of both.

Again Kapa Hale didn’t disappoint! Had brunch with the fam. Enjoyed the blue curacao maitai! Had the naan appetizer with corny bread and pumpkin bread. The little ones chomped on the bread. Loved the fried chicken and waffles. Soo delectable and savory!! The fam enjoyed the hamburger, shrimp salad and green eggs and ham and calamansi drink and ipa beer. Kids loved the kids fried chicken and pancakes. As it was a birthday they gave us a delightful cream and strawberry dessert So sweet!! Chef Lee you’re the best!

We got there way early and even though the restaurant was pretty full, they were able to seat us. I love the corny bread and my avo bacon egg was delicious! Always happy with Kapa Hale and our server Trina is the best!

We arrived at 9. Our server(I forgot her name) was very personable and welcoming. The ambiance was great. Very chill, very casual. Our food was good. I had the green eggs and ham. Pork belly was delicious. The green on top of my eggs was a bit bitter for my liking. I think if I had this dish again it would definitely be with plain eggs.
