Welcome to Kapa Hale!

Kapa Hale has a modern influence on Hawai'i Regional Cuisine. We promote local products and combine them with familiar ethnic influences that showcase a cuisine that can only be found in today's Hawai'i.

We can help to celebrate life's special events -- whether it's a large party or an intimate prix-fixe menu. We can accommodate different styles of events -- cocktail reception, sit-down family style menus, etc. Chef Keaka Lee was recently recognized as a James Beard semifinalist for Best Chef in the Northwest and Pacific. And finalist for the Vegetarian category for the local Hale 'Aina Awards by Honolulu Magazine.

We're located next to Olive Tree Cafe, outside of Kahala Mall. We have a small, private parking lot.

Kapa Hale has some new menu items and they were excellent. Watermelon salad, seafood hush puppies, mango toast and an interesting “ lumpia”. Service is always friendly and personalized. Always a delicious dining experience

Great place! Food was fresh, well plated, and very tasty. The decor is simple and the space is roomy. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They offer lunch, happy hour, dinner, and cocktails.

All of the food was fresh and original. Very pleased to have chosen this restaurant for a lunch meetup with a former colleague!

We took our visitors for lunch here as all our past meals and experiences were consistently good. The naan bread with curry was tasty and the fish spread on toast delicious. A repeat entree that I nearly always order was the KH chicken and it hit the target again. Other choices ordered were the burger, hamburger steak, cubano sandwich and fish dish….all of which were enjoyed. An excellent dessert was the lemon dream…innovative with the right amount of tartness These are the reasons we continue to return to this restaurant

We went for happy hour on a Thurs after hearing about it on "Cheap Eats" on TV. Turns out they've been open for 3 years - not sure why we never heard of it as we go to Kahala Mall often for dining. We checked out the menu online and it looked compelling. We went with the KFC, pork belly, and roasted garlic noodles. Also, the bar menu is very creative - with many takes on "Fashions." Chef Keaka Lee was there chatting with diners. My wife loves cooking and she had many questions and he was very friendly. Everything was very tasty - highly recommend it. This is a craft kitchen so the menu changes as the Chef innovates and creates new combinations. Great ambience and easy parking right out front.

Food was tasty and combination of ingredients for some of the menu choices were interesting. I had the risotto dish with seafood which I found the coconut curry base very delicious. My mother who ordered the same entree found it to be too spicy for her taste buds, so she switched entrees with my brother who had the fried pork belly with gouda and gochujang. Server was very personable, but the dishes came out very slowly to our table.

Absolutely love their salads, main meals (especially the curry-type risotto w/ shellfish), and their desserts (lemon dream is incredible!).
