KANU is a brand new 3-story restaurant, nightclub & rooftop patio located in the heart of downtown Old Town. The first floor offering an array of ambient possibilities; catering to all types of gatherings, both large and small.

NOTES:
Booking “Bar” is a seat on the 1st floor or 3rd bar*, there are no tables.
Booking “Counter” is an outdoor seat at our chair rail on our rooftop.*
Booking “Outdoors” is a table on our rooftop.*

*Guests must be able to walk up multiple flights of stairs. This outdoor seating experience is not undercover. In the case of rain, inclement weather, or extreme cold rescheduling/relocation may be necessary.

**20% gratuity will be added on tables of 6 or larger.
** 20% gratuity will be added on parties exceeding an hour after restaurant closes.

Great food, truly. Got there and our fireplace was the only one not lit, asked the waiter to have it turned on. We wait 30 minutes got a round of drinks and the fire place was still not on. We had to find the waiter to ask again because we were getting really cold. Eventually he sent someone over to turn it on and we were thankful. Not the best service but not the worst. The drinks were also different every round even tho we ordered the same thing again, tasted very different the second round.

It was a bit too cool to eat on the roof terrace so we ate in the main restaurant. Service by Morgan and others was terrific and food ( we both had the pork chop) was outstanding, the best I have experienced anywhere. Prosecco was absolutely fine and tiramisu was very tasty. A very, very nice evening out

Good service, beautiful building, great food. Other than not getting seated where we had made a reservation for, the night was amazing.

An absolute amazing experience. Our waitress was Maddy, if she was my waitress for every meal there’s of my life I would be blessed. A personality and a smile - perfect.

Server was wonderful! Music was a little too loud - felt like I had to shout to be heard, and the burger was definitely not worth $22 (very small and not that original or tasty).

Probably the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. The food was amazing. The service was outstanding in the ambience is unmatched in the area.

It was the last night before my mother in law had to leave to visit other family so we wanted to take her someplace special. We had been some time ago and were very happy but were not able to dine on the roof. This time we were able to score a reservation up on the top. The weather was beautiful and the ambiance divine. I still cant quite believe that Old Town Maine has such a classy place to enjoy food and make memories with loved ones. We arrived and were promptly greeted and seated. The only draw back is no elevator but luckily my 82 year old mother in law is tough and made the assent with only a brief pause at the second floor landing. Our server was right there to get us seated and answer our questions about the menu. My husband and mother in law got the salmon and I got the fish curry. We asked for the glaze be on the side for mom in law and in just a few minutes our food arrived as ordered. The house white and red were very good and served at the perfect temperature. Our meals were 5 star level and we were delighted with every bite. Beautiful flavors filled our mouths as we enjoyed the atmosphere on the upper level. For desert we shared the blueberry cake which was also wonderful. The cake had a nice crumb and really full blueberry flavor and was the perfect end to our wonderful meal. Thank you to the staff for being a part of a lovely send off for mom in law. We will be back!!

Great space with excellent food and superior service. I look forward to going back soon to sample other items on the menu. Ate in the first floor dining room which was quiet enough to talk in and a stylish atmosphere. I hear the rooftop deck is fantastic on a summer evening!
