KANU is a brand new 3-story restaurant, nightclub & rooftop patio located in the heart of downtown Old Town. The first floor offering an array of ambient possibilities; catering to all types of gatherings, both large and small.

NOTES:
Booking “Bar” is a seat on the 1st floor or 3rd bar*, there are no tables.
Booking “Counter” is an outdoor seat at our chair rail on our rooftop.*
Booking “Outdoors” is a table on our rooftop.*

*Guests must be able to walk up multiple flights of stairs. This outdoor seating experience is not undercover. In the case of rain, inclement weather, or extreme cold rescheduling/relocation may be necessary.

**20% gratuity will be added on tables of 6 or larger.
** 20% gratuity will be added on parties exceeding an hour after restaurant closes.

Arrived ten minutes prior to our reservation. We waited fifteen minutes in the waiting area, then were approached and told there was confusion and our reservation was lost. We were told we could sit at the bar while we waited for a table to open up. We were one of the only patrons sitting at the bar, still took the first bartender around 5 minutes to approach us and he promptly passed us off to another bar tender who then took another few minutes to take drink orders. This bartender then forgot my wife's drink order and had to re-ask before finally making a drink. We waited 45 minutes past our original reservation time and finally left and went to another local restaurant to eat dinner. As parents and busy professionals who have to line up childcare, we do not get the opportunity to have dinner dates often. We chose Kanù and made a reservation thinking we would pay a premium price and in return get premium customer service, but that was not the case. Quite frustrated with the entire situation.

Our waitress was extremely disorganized and slow. We were on the rooftop which I get takes a bit longer but everyone’s food was cold and the drinks also took a long time to arrive

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Kanu, to celebrate a good friend’s birthday, and it was an excellent experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting with an upscale decor. The food was beautifully presented, showcasing the chef's exceptional skill and attention to detail, and most importantly- delicious! The service was prompt and courteous taking care to address any questions and making us feel valued as guests. I would like to give special recognition to the chef who provided service that went above and beyond. Based on my notes when making the reservation, he took the time to research the sourcing of certain food to ensure specific dietary needs were considered. It's rare to find such a commitment to guest satisfaction and it truly elevated our dining experience. We are already looking forward to a return visit!

Probably more of a night club - we went for brunch. Extremely slow, food was cold, and order was mixed up. Quality of food was fair (bagels were fresh) and menu was interesting. Server was courteous. Ambience was lacking for a brunch spot. Ceiling lights only, in a room full of square tables and bare walls. Very industrial with a single screen running constant advertising for the bar. There are better options for breakfast in the area.

From our drinks to appetizers to entrees to milkshakes for dessert. Every single things was delicious!!

Went for brunch, the food was delicious. Definitely had a bit of a kick but we loved it! Our server was attentive and professional. We will definitely be back!

Took the family to dinner at Kanu. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We made reservations for the rooftop, and it did not disappoint. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed evening. The service was top notch- attentive and friendly. The food was delicious! Highly recommend Kanu for anyone looking for great food, service and atmosphere.

We took our son Evan and some of he fraternity brothers for dinner during Homecoming Weekend. Our food was excellent and the craft cocktails were outstanding. Overall great experience. We will definitely be back again.

Always amazing, This place offers food like nothing else in the area. Very smart, tasteful, and authentic dishes. Chef Justin is an incredible talent that takes pride in his work and is an amazing artist. Everyone should experience anything he brings to the table

Our dinner for two at Kanù was a super cool experience. The fire and the lights made for a great vibe, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the apple cheesecake!
