Due to the success of his market stall, Galton realised his talents also lay in cooking, so he decided to pursue that particular path. Galton then went on to gain experience in London, New York, South Africa and Canada before returning to his native Norfolk to open Morston Hall with his wife, Tracy. Close to the North Norfolk coast, two miles from Blakeney Since opening, Morston Hall has been included in the Good Food Guide for more than 20 years and the restaurant was awarded a Michelin star in 1999, which it has since retained. The restaurant has also become one of Norfolk’s most noteworthy restaurants,

Opted for the tasting menu and was disappointing the wait between each dish was too long, a couple of dishes some of the food was cold. Such a shame the last time we went to kanishka it was great. Which influenced the decision to go with the tasting menu. They didn’t charge us for the drinks we had because of the issues which we highlighted to them, nevertheless it was still a disappointing experience

We had chosen to indulge in the taster menu, it was amazing, the best meal I have had. The waiters were attentive and knowledgable. The restaurant had a lovely calm environment and it felt very private with tables spaced well.

A fabulous evening with stunning food and outstanding service We had a set menu but the choices for each course were great The staff were friendly and informative and the black dhal truly amazing

Great experience again at an Atul Kucher restaurant. Always great tasting food and worth the money. Staff were all great and made the atmosphere very relaxed and enjoyable.

We had the Indo Chinese set menu at £35 each for 3 people. While the food was delicious, we were served 5 small starter portions as our entire meal. At no point were we advised that we may need sides to supplement. When we provided feedback on portion size to our waiter to pass on, his response was you can feed it back.

Interesting Indian/Chinese menu to celebrate Chinese New Year. However overall I think I prefer the normal Indian choices, but the service and flavours were as congenial as ever.

Pitch perfect - we had the tasting menu with wine pairing and it was an evening to remember. Every course was exquisite and the service was competent and approachable. Lovely evening - thank you

We had the most amazing dinner at a great Magical Monday value. We travel frequently and have enjoyed Indian food in major cities around the world and this was the best we’ve ever had. They catered to my youngest daughter’s preferences with a 3-course kids meal and service was kind and impeccable. This place is a gem that I will go out of my way to visit again on future trips to London and recommend highly to friends.
