    One of Britain’s most exciting chefs, Ollie Dabbous is the co-founder and executive chef of HIDE in London’s Mayfair. Having begun his career as a kitchen hand in Florence, aged 15, Ollie went on to work in the kitchens of esteemed restaurants such as Raymond Blanc’s Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, Kensington Place, Texture, Mugaritz, Noma and Pierre Gagnaire before launching his first solo restaurant, Dabbous, in 2012. Almost immediately after opening, Dabbous became one of London’s busiest restaurants, receiving unprecedented critical acclaim and being awarded a Michelin star just a few months after opening.In 2017, Ollie closed Dabbous in order to focus on HIDE, which also received a Michelin star just six months after opening.

    Overall very good Indian food, mellowed a bit down. I didn't understand the pickled artichoke with my tiger prawns. The lamb biryani was one of the best I ever ate. My wife's venison was perfect.

    From the moment we arrived,everyone seemed disorganised.Our table wasn’t ready,so we sat at the bar,and were about to order a drink,when we were told the table was ready. We ordered drinks which took 20 mins to arrive,just before our starters,one of which was wrong,we then waited another 10 mins before the right one arrived. It took a long time to order a bottle of wine Food was OK,but not outstanding When we got to dessert and tea-the tea arrived and the waitress started to pour it before desserts arrived-she then came back with it and it was cold,so really not the standard we would expect for the prices charged and the reputation

    We had the Four Hands 7 course tasting menu with Aktar Islam on 10 September each with a wine pairing. The food was excellent in particular the sauces which were complexly flavoured. The wines were brilliantly selected to accompany each course. I can thoroughly recommend Kanishka for a gourmet Indian meal.

    A very special evening with two remarkable chefs. Every dish was fabulous but the dish featuring the simple potato stole the show.

    Quality has deteriorated since last there a few years ago - all seemed rather rushed - originally booked for 7pm then it was brought forward, twice, to 6:30 when they close - were pushed to order VERY quickly - bar closed early so no more cocktails (that were over priced anyhow, for what they were) - was looking forward to a return after our previous visit but this one was an expensive disappointment.

    One word, amazing. Lovely food and lovely knowledgeable staff who chose great wine parings throughout. Had the taster menu, the scallops, butter chicken and the crème brûlée were the standouts but every dish was brilliant. Reasonably priced too for the quality and service. Fully recommend
