I’m a true true foodie and this restaurant was the top of the top! La crème de la creme! From the gorgeous decor to music to service to food and the most amazing ambience!!! One of the best restaurants i’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing! It’s a must must must!

Gorgeous space, super professional service, and terrific food quality. A live violin performance set right near the dining tables added to the magic of the place A cut above any other restaurant I have tried at San Miguel.

We have been in San Miguel for two weeks and KAN BEI was by far the best restaurant in all categories. We arrived early and enjoyed cocktails in the gorgeous bar. Eddie the bar tender could make any craft cocktail and each one was perfect. He also helped us select perfect wines for dinner. This quiet restaurant was such a relief! We were able to hear the guitar player singer but he was soft beautiful background music. We are high maintenance frequent diners and the staff exceeded our expectations. The food was the best we have had in San Miguel and around most parts of the world, and do not let the name scare you! Chef Diego Tapia came to our table and explained that the amazing food we were served are his recipes. I was craving some veggies so I ordered the vegetables curry and it was so good the table ordered another! We had the BEI Spring Rolls and they were the best spring rolls we have ever had. Grandma’s pork belly and the Beijing chicken blew us away with the taste, texture and freshness. You will get Michelin star treatment from the moment you arrive until you depart. Do not miss eating in this restaurant. We will be back! On a final note, this is not an expensive restaurant and the cost of our bottles of wine were less in cost than other restaurants we dined in. We tried a local winery wine that was a blend of a few different grapes and it was amazing. Talk to Eddie and choose a bottle that suits your taste. JC Dallas Texas

In a city of fine restaurants Kan Bei moved to the top of our list as a special night out. The wait staff, ambience, cocktails, appetizers, and main course were all exceptional. This is one of the pricier restaurants in town, but definitely worth it for a special night.

While Ken Bai is more expensive than most restaurants in San Miguel de Allende, they also provide a higher level of service, foo quality and ambiance than most. We enjoyed the place and will be back!

Excelente todo, la combinación de sabores de diferentes cocinas con el toque mexicano, un 100 de 100, Lugar muy bonito, cócteles muy ricos y el servicio con mucho esmero y calidad

The first two words that come to mind are: exquisite and delicious. I love Thai food and this was truly the best vegetable curry I have ever tasted. Everyone in my party agreed that every bite was a 10+ in all the dishes. I think I can safely say that the ambiance is the most elegant in all of San Miguel (or maybe all of Mexico). The service was impeccable. And to top it off, it was my birthday and they brought me a delicious dessert with fruit and mascarpone and lychee ice cream with a beautiful sparkling candle. I could go on, but I think you get the picture!! I am going back next time I am in San Miguel without a doubt.

Fantastic app Shrimp Spring Rolls. Soup was very nice and perfect on a cool evening. Signature cocktails are very interesting. Salmon main was tasty. Service was excellent. Will return to try even more dishes.

Eighth time in SMA. Definitely top two restaurants dined at here. Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed

The ambiance, food, and service was incredible. One of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever eaten in. Our waiter, Brian was so fun and made a special mezcal tasting for my husband which was not on the menu. The edamame, ribeye, and soup was outstanding. They also had live music and a really cool bar with unique cocktails. Highly recommend!
