It is so natural for the Greeks to be drawn to hospitality roles that there is even a word with deep historical significance to describe it. ‘philoxenia’ ~ translating to ‘friend of a stranger’ (philos: friend and xenia: stranger). Book your end of year functions and catch ups and come and enjoy the entertainment. Let yourself be whisked away to a Greek taverna, right here in Ocean Grove. Enjoy all your favourites on the two course set menu, plus an ouzo or glass of wine on arrival. Kids menu available for under 12s. OPA! (Please note, any OUTDOOR tables booked will be weather dependant and may need to be cancelled if weather doesn't behave.)

Another enjoyable evening at Kala. Fantastic food and atmosphere. Service was great and friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

Food and ambience made it feel like we were in Greece again. We had to wait due to its popularity to get a booking but it was worth the wait. The staff and food were excellent and we look forward to regularly dining at Kala!

Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. We have been wanting to come to Kala for so long now and my biggest regret is that we hadn't eaten here sooner. Kala is officially my new favorite local restaurant

Cannot praise this place highly enough - everything about it is absolute perfection! Worth a trip to go there. And their sister restaurant Mona Cicchetti too. Honestly so amazing in every way - it’s obvious the owners really love what they do and it comes across x

Overall we had a lovely meal and the atmosphere was great, the place was buzzing with happy diners. The staff were outstanding, and the service was wonderful. The team should be complimented on their customer service. We felt a little let down with the seating arrangements...bench seats are uncomfortable and not what we expect when paying quite a bit for a meal.

Delicious food and fantastic service. The owners know how to do hospitality. Kicking goals with three great restaurants. The deconstructed cheesecake was the best dessert I’ve ever eaten in my life. Highly recommend.
