We enjoyed a meal for our 10th wedding anniversary. Our food was beautifully cooked and very delicious. I really enjoyed the coconut ice cream dessert- it was divine! The service that we received from the team was exceptional. Especially from Alex who was friendly and very attentive. Thank you for everything we had a brilliant evening.

We had a great time, the staff were friendly and attentive with injections of humour at times. The food was of great quality and quantities were ideal, with a great ambience and relaxed dining feel. Will be back!

Lovely attentive service for a large table of 8. Everyone chose differently off the menu there were lots of first time visitors and everyone really enjoyed their food: I had the chicken liver parfait then the schnitzel which was absolutely delicious. Waiter was a sommelier & able to offer loads of advice on wines: Super friendly service which wasn’t rushed despite us being the last table in: Will definitely be back soon !!

Service was very friendly, helpful and efficient, and overall the two members of the front of house staff we dealt with did a very good job. Unfortunately, this was not matched by the quality of the overall dining experience. For the price we paid - £43 per person for two courses - I would expect a lot more. The food was reasonably well presented, and not without flavour. There was a journeyman professionalism to most of the cooking. No obvious flaws, yet lacking the verve and desire to excite or surprise that would have elevated our dishes beyond the merely acceptable. There was a hearty, smokey slab of belly bacon to start, accompanied by a salad of spring leaves with buttermilk dressing, walnuts and apple, that had neither the zest nor character to withstand the richness of the meat. Chicken schnitzel was similarly lacking in class or refinement. A fairly hefty piece of breaded chicken, that was powerless to withstand a rather belligerent "schwarma spiced butter". There was a nicely balanced yoghurt alongside, that help to cushion the bluntness of the chicken. But the white cabbage and onion salad brought little to the one-note party. The pudding happily embraced the concepts of both "sticky" and "toffee", yet an attended vanilla ice-cream seemed to have been made without the use of its headline ingredient. All in all the story was one of over promising and then failing to deliver, which at these prices is pretty unforgivable.

Reliably excellent in Manchester food scene. One of a handful of good to restaurants that always deliver. Disappointment: No giant onion to be seen.

Pleasant Restaurant with good quality food and great service. A bit on the expensive side but I suppose you have to pay for quality. So altogether a great experience.

Went for Sunday Roast and the staff made my solo dining experience one to remember fondly. I felt so cared for and the food was absolutely lovely. Would definitely come back <3

One of, if not the best Sunday roast I’ve had. Flavours, quantity and quality all exceptional. The fabulous service topped everything off. Can’t recommend enough.
