Dine from our Bistro Menu for some lovely dishes at amazing value. 2 courses for £17 or 3 for £20. It’s available from 12 until 6:30 from Monday – Thursday and before 4pm on Fridays. We’ve worked hard with our chefs to strip things back and keep things really simple. It’s good, hearty, tasty stuff served to you by a team who love what they do. And sometimes you don’t need anything more than that. Our menu changes monthly and is subject to availability, please go to our website or check social media for updates.

At an entry price of £20/pax for 3 courses, Kala is a decent place to have some modern British food with French influences. Good wine pairings as well. Excellent service.

I think Kala is a great bistro. Lovely staff, nice vibe. I found the veggie options too carb-heavy especially as I ordered too many chips (the waiting staff were too polite to tell me I had over-ordered chips). I love the wine-pairing suggestions with each dish.

I got a last minute booking for a party of 4. The food was fantastic. We all ended up choosing the same - crab cakes, beef rib and for dessert the parkin. It was all divine!

Very attentive friendly front of house that wasn’t too over the top. Food extremely tasty. Excellent value for excellent quality. Very tasty.

We had the February fixed price menu and added olives, almonds and the truffle chips. Was really lovely and no space for dessert. It’s really great value for money. Great bottle of Macabeo too. We were very well looked after. Also gave us a happy anniversary plate which was a lovely surprise. Thank you

Lovely meal but unfortunately the bar service was slow all evening and when the menu offers wine pairings it's nice to get the wine when the food is served and not when you've nearly finished.
