    Food was amazing. Both the sushi and the appetizers. Our service was incredible. The handcrafted drinks are the way to go.

    Had a great meal and fun time at Kai for my daughter's 21st birthday! Food was great as always.

    Waiter was amazing and attentive but it food took so so long to come out. Well over an hour and some of us didn’t get to eat at same time as food came out at different times.

    Our waitress closely tended to other tables, but not ours. I think she forgot to put our order in, then didn’t tell us. Other waiters actually started randomly stepping in to wait on us, and it was a really odd experience. We won’t be back .

    I had chosen a “standard” table vs a “high top” when making my reservation because I have mobility issues. They sat us at a high top table and I had a very uncomfortable evening trying to stay in my bar stool chair. Today I am having trouble walking because of the pain in my legs. The food was good.

    Loved the food. Apparently understaffed, took forever to just get a server to bring water after we got seated at our reservation time.

    This was our second visit to Kai. We dined here on a night when things were running slow, which was a little irritating, however they were apologetic and there was a mess up in the kitchen that delayed getting an entree and they made it right for us by offering a quick substitution and comping something for us. I am glad they recognized the error and did their best to correct it. The drinks and sushi were very good. I would come again, as I think we caught them on a night when things were abnormally behind.

    Went here for husbands bday dinner. Requested on here if they can sing if possible, nothing happened. Fine with it. Food was decent. Calamari was fire. I ordered the Miami Vice and let me tell you more rice than anything. Literally only a small amount of filling. Ate one and tossed the rest. Back to Kai sushi was good. Will I go back, maybe not. Thank you though for the experience.

    I love this restaurant I’m not originally from Missouri and this is by far the best restaurant I’ve had while living here
