Contemporary Indian restaurant by Michelin Star Chef Peter Joseph, located opposite the iconic Cadogan Hall in Chelsea.The 90-cover restaurant is inspired by Peter’s upbringing in Tamil Nadu, the southernmost state of India. Kahani, which translates to ‘story’ in Hindi, will be centred around Peter’s philosophy of community eating to celebrate, bring people together, break boundaries and share tales.This contemporary approach to Indian cooking will showcase seasonal and sustainable British ingredients, focusing on grilled meats, fish and vegetables from the robata grill - a core dining philosophy of the restaurant.

Excellent food! Great menu offerings with interesting items. Highly recommend. The smoked octopus and shrimp salad was our favorite. We also had the samosa platter, the grilled artichokes, the lamb curry and the garlic naan which were also very delicious.

The staff was amazing and super attentive! They gave great recommendations and the food was outstanding! Ambiance was very cozy but elegant.

The restaurant is located perfectly between the lovely streets of Knightsbridge and Chelsea. The service was special, food was great and our overall experience was one of attention and warmth. Highly recommended for an evening out with partners, friends and family!

From moment we arrived until we left, we received impeccable service from Akil, the wine steward, the wait staff etc. Akil listened, gave options based on our experiences, followed our lead to slow down service or speed up. Our needs were highly anticipated and met beyond expectations. Food presentation was exquisite, tasty, and a mouth explosion of sensation! Highly recommend!
