Contemporary Indian restaurant by Michelin Star Chef Peter Joseph, located opposite the iconic Cadogan Hall in Chelsea.The 90-cover restaurant is inspired by Peter’s upbringing in Tamil Nadu, the southernmost state of India. Kahani, which translates to ‘story’ in Hindi, will be centred around Peter’s philosophy of community eating to celebrate, bring people together, break boundaries and share tales.This contemporary approach to Indian cooking will showcase seasonal and sustainable British ingredients, focusing on grilled meats, fish and vegetables from the robata grill - a core dining philosophy of the restaurant.

These curries were the best we've had. Fresh spices in expert hands. If you go, be sure to try the charcoal lamb and Kerala prawn curry!

Visiting from the US i searched for the best Indian Food in London and came across Kahani and am so glad that I did. We ordered the six course dinner with the wine pairing. The staff was so friendly and funny. The tasting menu with the wine pairing was absolutely delicious. I could not decide which course was the most enjoyable. If I am ever back in London, I will be back.

Our waiter Azim made the experience so lovely for us. He made sure we had everything we needed for this special night. Everyone was so polite and the food was great!

We tried the 4 course menu. It was exquisite. The attention to detail in every course was incredible. The staff were all very polite and friendly. The ambience was perfect for our wedding anniversary. As a surprise, we were handed an extra pudding with a happy anniversary chocolate plaque. This was a very warming touch. The modern twist on an Indian menu is genius. Would Highly recommend.

Good quality food as always. Large portion as we can't finish the dishes. Staffs were friendly and attentive. I hope they can go plastic free in the soon future.
