We had to wait an hour and a half for our sushi. The restaurant gave us complimentary mochi to make it right.

Used to come here all the time. Idk what happened, the quality of fish was good, but it tasted like they didn’t dress or treat the nigiri pieces up to their past standards. Given how expensive it gets, the value just wasn’t there compared to momotoro, sushi dokku etc

We’d not been to Juno for a while, and today it’s not quite the same Juno it was. The food was okay, above average sushi. But, it’s the service and ambiance that changed. The noise level in the half empty space was too loud to converse across the table, staff scurrying everywhere rather chaotically. We ordered the Chef’s sashimi and got the nigiri (16 pieces versus 9 pieces). It was too late to reorder, and we’d been waiting a bit already. When the waiter brought the check, he said the manager had comped us a couple pieces of our order for the error, which was not true. The front bar area is quieter and less hectic, might be a better place to sit for your visit.

Truly some of the best sushi in Chicago. I am gluten free and they take my allergies super seriously. Don't forget dessert! I had the mochi brownie and it was like ending the meal with a warm, comforting hug. Perfect spot for date night, impressing an out-of-town guest, or catching up with friends!

Fresh sushi grade fish with delicious accompaniments. Had the omakase option and enjoyed most of the chef's choices. Favorites included many of the signature nigiris, including the Juno King and Queen, the hotate and the kinmedai. Our server Lorin was very attentive and helped us to try both the sake and premium sake flights. He also allowed us to have both the oolong cheesecake and the chocolate mochi brownie for dessert since I don't eat eggs. Great way to narrow our focus towards return trips knowing which dishes we most enjoyed.

This used to be a great place for sushi but something has gone very wrong. Dried out fish, sloppy presentation, underwhelming taste experience, lackluster service….and still a very very high price. No wonder reservations were abundantly available on a Sunday early evening for counter service omikase. The experience can’t even be compared with similar experiences in the city, it was too low. The clearest comparison would be to supermarket or big box sushi. Juno even fails in that comparison. Never again. And I’m doing my best to spread the word
