The Story of the The Peacock and Juno is a tale where the goddess reassures her creatures that their talents were given to them with intention. The peacock with its plumage, the nightingale with his song, the eagle with its strength. Juno and the Peacock perfectly fits in without out theme of synchronicity and intention- The intention of every detail from decor and presentation, to each ingredient used and sourced, and most importantly, our flock of intentional and elegant hospitality.

    Juno and the Peacock was underwhelming. Our waitress was eager to please and focused on suggesting more things we could order, even though we were just interested in drinks and entrees. My husband had scallops, and I had grouper encrusted in crab meat. The meals were good, but not great. We both felt we spent a lot of money on mediocre food.

    Meh… best way I can explain. Nothing was bad but nothing was wow. For the price food was dry and fairly flavorless. Way better places available for the price point.

    I am glad I was not a teenager: too young to drink, but with a legendary appetite. My bill alone would have topped $200. I have dined at much more expensive restaurants around the planet, but not in St. Pete. Be advised. That said, the appetizers were wonderful and seemed like a bargain. How can corn bread be one of the most delightful things I have ever eaten? Makes no sense, but it's true. My wife's selection of Hamachi Crudo was excellent as well. She said there were slightly fishy overtones or it would have been rated a 10 instead of a 9. The wet-cured rib eye steak we shared was delicious and cooked perfectly. The Bearnaise sauce, a no-big-deal $5 extra, was terrific, but the portion was oh-so-parsimonious. Really stingy. To accompany the steak we had crispy potato gratin, very chefy -- not quite as hot as it should have been, but still wonderful. The asparagus looked great but were woody on the ends and were so lightly grilled they were not good to eat. I know that serving asparagus nearly raw is in vogue, but they need higher quality vegetables to pull it off. Or, they could steam them lightly. There are no good wines offered at bottle prices less than the steaks and the oysters are four bucks each. If I ran a restaurant, I would make available some good wines at reasonable prices. I think it would pay off. Same for the raw oysters: don't charge more than the competition. It's off-putting. But I don't run restaurants and would probably fail in weeks if I tried. The service was good but just a tad slow. We did not mind because we were not in a hurry and had a couple drinks. All-in-all, this restaurant is a great new addition to St.Pete's plethora of good-not-great restaurants. Juno and the Peacock clearly raises the bar. We are glad they are here and we will return.

    Wonderful evening spent on the sidewalk at an outdoor table. We could watch all the activities happening on the street and even the boat parade out on the water. Elio our waiter was very attentive, gave great suggestions, and made delicious coffee. Our dinner was delicious and dessert was a real treat. We will be back!

    Wonderful dinner and the staff was amazing. The specials were delicious. Hogfish and dry aged ribeye!

    Took in-laws from San Francisco to here first to give them the St. Petersburg experience. They loved it. Very impressive.
