Feeling a bit tired and generally disappointing. Rushed food delivery and were served a dish that was just not edible, should not have left the kitchen..

My husband & I decided to have dinner here based on reviews and the menu. The Sage Hill Heirlooms small plate had nice fresh tomatoes, but the dressing was a bit sweet for us. The Oyster Sisig small plate was incredible, the standout dish of the night. The Miso Black Cod was fresh and the fish itself was seasoned very nicely, but the broth it was served in lacked flavor and took away from the dish. The fresh fish of the day was very good. The servings were generous. Overall we really enjoyed the food. Our server, Daisy, was excellent! We look forward to dining here when we return to San Diego.

Service and food were excellent. The smoked biscuits were something I’ll think about for a long time. I didn’t love having a reserved table in the bar area so I’d probably call next time to request a table on the main level.

Juniper and Ivy is named as one of the top 10 restaurants in San Diego and I can definitely understand why - the service (from hostess, bartender, and server) was amazing. The restaurant was 100% full (as expected for a Friday night) but, as far as I could tell, every table was very well attended. The ambiance was perfect, and the food was absolutely amazing (with dietary restrictions easily accommodated). Wine selection was excellent. I will be returning on my next trip.

Incredible food- diverse and creative menu- changes seasonally, everything was top notch h quality. Server was wonderful and very knowledgeable. Great experience. And yes for what should be a common standard but often isn’t you will pay a stuff price for all that. But for birthdays or other special occasions- worth it.
