Les origines internationales et la cuisine innovante d'Evelyn Garcia, ancienne de « Top Chef », et du copropriétaire Henry Lu sont mises à l'honneur dans ce restaurant nommé aux James Beard Awards. Dans des locaux accueillants de style industriel agrémentés de plantes tropicales, le couple sert des plats à partager aux influences latines et asiatiques, comme le poulet sauté sauce crevette et chili thaïlandais ou le tartare de bœuf et son buñuelo au sésame, accompagnés d'excellents cocktails à base de saké.

Event Date: October 7 2024, 4 Course Tasting Menu + Wine Pairing $220per Person (not inclusive of Taxes, Fees, and Service Charges) Dinner Only: $175.00. Please make note of any dietary restriction and allergy, we will do our best to accommodate. (Please note this is a special menu so we may not be able to accommodate all request.) I was excited about eating at Jun so my husband and I went for date night and had reservations. The interior is great and the waitstaff is nice and knowledgeable. However we were seated for 20 minutes before anyone acknowledged us or gave us water. It took over an hour for any food to be served to us and we were seated at the counter looking into the kitchen. There was not a large party in the restaurant. The food wasn’t as good as we expected and we had five different dishes. We might have gone on an off night, but it was a Friday night.

Great food and overall service. One issue, tried to get in touch to let them know we were running late - they have a 15-minute grace period. The call went to voicemail. Then texted to let them know. We arrived right at 15 minutes late, but the hostess was not up front and we waited for her to return to the front. Then, she said it was past 15 minutes and our table was no longer available but we could sit at the bar. Pretty ridiculous.

Just fantastic. Hostess was friendly. Our waitress was SUPERB. We ordered the sausage (favorite dish), all the veggies (sweet potato was a miss), fried chicken (great), pork ribs (it was as if the ribs were coated in candy. But in a good way). Wine list is eclectic. Sommelier terrific.

Loved the experience! Great waitstaff and knowledgeable sommelier with some interesting wines on the menu. The food and platings were thoughtful and really tasty!

Food and service were excellent, a few off courses (we’ve had the tasting menu numerous times). Tenderloin tasted a few days old, a crumble dessert was a disaster. First time ALL the tasting menu items weren’t perfect. Noise was untenable, so loud we could not hear across the table, I could not understand why this occurred, as we were very close to previous tables. Either the people were louder, or (if they had) music, it all added up to misery in my head by the end of dinner. (My Apple Watch even went off saying the decibel level was dangerous!). Something needs to reduce the noise, as other restaurants are doing by utilizing noise absorption ceiling materials. The noise level IS NOT energetic, it’s disturbing.

I tried their 7 course menu paired with wine. I only found two dishes delicious. The cauliflower and carrot based dishes were good. The rest were either too spicey, or just not good. My date couldn't have undercooked meat for health reasons and asked the beef to be cooked more thoroughly. The waiter said, "Let me ask my manager." Came back and said sorry we cannot do that. I won't be back..
