D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Les origines internationales et la cuisine innovante d'Evelyn Garcia, ancienne de « Top Chef », et du copropriétaire Henry Lu sont mises à l'honneur dans ce restaurant nommé aux James Beard Awards. Amazing experience. The food was incredible. The restaurant is decorated perfectly. The branzino was cooked perfectly, the brisket was very unique and the mussels were so tasty (and I am not a fan of mussels). The goat cheesecake with the ginger lychee sorbet was the perfect ending.

Fabulous meal with flavor combinations that continued to surprise. Great service, good atmosphere. I wish they had a full bar, though.

I had the chef’s tasting menu during happy hour on a saturday afternoon, I sat at the bar. The restaurant has a nice aesthetic, good lighting, and the staff looks professional. I often eat alone and one thing that I look for is to be treated similar to every other party whether they are larger in size or not. This day, the bar was filled with a party of 3, a party of 2 and then me. Things are off to a good start after I order and recieve a mixed drink, I had a carajillo which tasted great. I then got started on the chef’s tasting menu. The first dish was truly impressive, the Gulf Shrimp Aguachile. After that, things began to fall short. I understand and am familiar with the concept of a tasting menu and the idea of being able to experience different flavors without commiting to too filling of a portion. However, many of the dishes lacked cohesion, primarily the cauliflower, sausage, and carrots. Sure, there were flavors to appreciate amongst all of them but at the end of the day, they felt hollow and more like fillers. They simply were not inventive or exciting enough to stand on their own. So that’s the food. The service was…okay. My water was filled, my plates and utensils were cleared, but I expected more from the service. One event stands out: as happy hour was coming to an end and my cocktail was finished, one of the bartenders asked the other to make a round for last call for the discounted cocktails. And so he did, he asked every party except me if they wanted to place an order before happy hour ended. It wasn’t until 10 minutes after happy hour had ended and the signs showing the deals were put away that I was finally asked if I wanted a new drink. This cast a large shade over an increasingly dull evening. Overall, Jūn is not a terribly expensive restaurant to eat at but it still does not do enough to warrant the price or its rating.

Food and service were PHENOMENAL! Our only note was that at a certain point, the service really slowed. Our dinner ended up being over 2 hours. Otherwise, no notes! Great dinner!!!

Extremely disappointing unless you love extremely loud noise due to very high ceilings,uncomfortable dining room with mediocre service, servers who say it’s a substitute yet charge you extra, wine pours are 4 ounces or less, no ambiance, etc. We will never ever return! Don’t bother wasting your money.

My only major complaint is that it’s way too dark in the dining room. I get wanting to set a certain mood but one tiny candle is not enough to let you see your food well, much less the menu.

Great place, incredible food, awesome service and amazing cocktails! The only thing my husband and I have issue with is the lighting. We had to use our phones to read the menu.

This was our second visit to JUN, and it was even better than the first time. Each dish was excellent. The brisket was comparatively lackluster compared to the rest of the dishes but the whole branzino, mussels, and sausage were incredible. Will go back again and again.
