D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Les origines internationales et la cuisine innovante d'Evelyn Garcia, ancienne de « Top Chef », et du copropriétaire Henry Lu sont mises à l'honneur dans ce restaurant nommé aux James Beard Awards. Dans des locaux accueillants de style industriel agrémentés de plantes tropicales, le couple sert des plats à partager aux influences latines et asiatiques, comme le poulet sauté sauce crevette et chili thaïlandais ou le tartare de bœuf et son buñuelo au sésame, accompagnés d'excellents cocktails à base de saké.

We dined there for a special occasion and they were just wonderful in how they made our night special. We had the tasting menu and every course was an exceptional taste sensation. Just the perfect amount of food with each course. Service was excellent, ambiance great and attention to detail in presentation made this a meal to remember. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Great location, great environment & vibe. Before we go we tried to call to ask some questions but the reply is always slow or even no response. During the meal the server gave wrong info on the menu. Food is too sour and brisket is too salty we didn’t even finished the plate. Server and chef didn’t notice or mention anything when they took away our half full plate course.

James Besrd has it right! This 2024 award winner was one of the most beautifully presented, flavorful, creative and varied that our group of 4 very experienced diners has ever had. The shared plates allowed everyone to experience the chef’s cuisine. Every dish was a winner, with flavors like cumin, keffir lime, labneh, chorizo, agua fresca and more. The menu defies categorization, with nods to fresh Tex-Mex, middle eastern and creole as well as Asian sensibilities. And for us, if you take the best of every cuisine and put it in one place, that’s a win! There were some service issues- not bringing serving utensils for shared dishes, forgetting a wine, not offering more bread, picking up dishes late, but the food more than made up for that. Additionally, the restaurant is incredibly noisy though small, and this is related to all the hard surfaces. It interferes the meal if you have to yell to be heard at your table. We had the additional misfortune to be seated next to a very young toddler. In summary, come for the food, and come often- the menu changes seasonally. Perhaps management will work on the service issues and decide to add rugs or sound baffles on the ceiling. Regardless, it’s going to be a great meal!

Great service. Tidy menu. The vibe is what you bring. Lovely decor. the starters were great. My hiccup was the work ribs. Last night (and every kitchen has an off night...I undercooked the rice on Sunday) the ribs were salty and my portion of ribs was way more bone than meat. I sat and watched a guest 7 feet away enjoy a meaty portion.

Everything was top notch. Likely one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Houston. Perfectly portioned and paired tasting menu. My husband and I left full and so satisfied. Cocktails were balanced, refreshing and visually beautiful. We will be back!

We selected the tasting menu and the wine pairing. All delicious overall. The smoked carrots were not our favorite but apparently many people like them. Great staff as well. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Incredible tasting menu and the wine pairings were lovely. The beef tenderloin was excellent. And the trio of desserts was my favorite!

We went for our anniversary and the food was delicious. We had already eaten a big lunch, so we didn't have drinks or dessert unfortunately. Nonetheless, very good experience. I would expect nothing less from Chef Evelyn Garcia, as I have loved her food in the past. Looking forward to returning in the future! The couple next to us flew in from NYC for a work/pleasure trip and had the tasting menu. It looked great and they were VERY happy with their experience.
