The food was amazing, so there's nothing to complain about there. We got the Labneh, Mushroom Cavatelli, Foie Torchon, and Scallop Crudo for appetizers, and I think the first 3 were really great, and the scallops were super fresh. I've had the Labneh multiple times before and I feel like the recipe has changed, but it was still good! Out of the Rigatoni Bolognese, Burger, Lamb, Salmon, and Scallop Risottos plates, I would say the Bolognese and Scallops came up top! Honestly, the waiters were also great and accommodating for the most part. However, there were times when there weren't enough spoons/forks for the appetizers they brought out, which meant we had to use our own, and were essentially missing utensils for dinner. I had to ask them to bring a spoon for my dad's scallop risotto, because usually you wouldn't eat that with a fork...right? Regardless, they had great suggestions, and were very welcoming. I think my main issue lies with the management. We walked into the restaurant and were trying to be very sneaky with my uncle's birthday cake, we handed it to the hostess to take care of after letting her know it was the birthday cake (I also called in earlier to warn them in advance). When it was time for the cake, the waiters were confused bc they didn't know where the cake was, until finally, the manager appears and says "Are you sure you brought a cake? I've been here the entire time and I know what happens around here and haven't seen a cake". Of course that response and attitude would set my mom off, and I didn't know what else to say, but that we handed it to the hostess after informing her it was the cake. We found the cake on the ground, at the front, not even on the coat rack. Just on the ground. There wasn't an apology given either. This was our family's go-to over the years, but after this incident, it won't be recommended. I truly did appreciate the food and service for the most part, but would not want to deal with that kind of management.

My only complaint with Julli is the lack of noise absorbing surfaces. It can get very noisy. But the food and service are always first rate.

Julii’s never fails to disappoint. Regardless of a delay in one of the meals, they worked to make the customer happy! I appreciate the respect, they have for their customer base. Despite the delay, the management and the waiter still delivered a beyond positive outcome! I highly recommend this restaurant, not only for the food, for the service, commitment to excellence, and consistency!

The bartenders are wonderful - experienced at making creative cocktails and very personable. Dinner was delicious and we had a very good server.

This isn't our first visit - more like our 5th. This was a business dinner. The clients were very impressed with the ambience and the food. We had the Julii burger a fan favorite in our house and it was juicy and savory as always. The french onion soup is one of the best in Maryland. Our client ordered the chicken shish kabob and loved it as well. The drinks are perfectly mixed and they have some good iPa on tap. A must visit location.

Great food, amazing drinks made by Carlos & Carmen and our server Elio was super nice! The restaurant even gave my friend a Bday card!

Speaking on a cell phone should not be allowed. One of the diners was on the phone we ith a very loud voice.

Terrific date night at JULII. Although I have been to her sister-restaurant Melina (which is amazing) many times, this was my first experience here (per friend's recommendation). Ambience is modern, simple yet fascinating, and not "over the top". The menu is fantastic - so many rich choices. The service was professional, timely, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Drinks were on point and wine pairings were perfect. Food was good - a little too much salt on the scallops/risotto ... and the "special" branzino, while cooked perfectly, had too much butter and was not accompanied by substantive greens as described (or paired). I will definitely come back. Lots more to explore and appreciate. Thank you.
