The 24th Annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights will take place on December 7, 2024. Purchase a VIP waterfront balcony table to enjoy a front-row seat to the parade and a 3-hour table time. The parade begins at 5:30 pm, but seating begins at 4:30 so you will have plenty of time to get your first round of drinks and apps on the table before the parade begins! In addition to our dinner menu, we're featuring our annual pre-order holiday charcuterie board and tableside s'mores. Please note, we cannot guarantee Alexandria will put on the boat parade. In the event of rain or severe weather, we reserve the right to cancel. If we cancel, you will be provided a gift card in the amount of your non-refundable table purchase.

The parade begins at 5:30 pm, but seating begins at 4:30 so you will have plenty of time to get your first round of drinks and apps on the table! Tables are assigned at time of purchase. This is a non-refundable, 21 and over, rain or shine ticketed event. We cannot guarantee the City of Alexandria will put on the boat parade. In the event of rain or cold weather, we reserve the right to close the outdoor space and move the DJ inside.

Definitely one of my favourite Old Town restaurants; excellent food, pleasant ambiance and spectacular views. Wonderful outside dining areas, too. Two criticisms - the flatbread a member of our party ordered was disappointing (too thick, and very dry); at Sunday brunch the noise level was uncomfortably high (much quieter during a weekday lunch.

Great brunch and amazing selection. The view and ambiance can’t be beat. Our sever Khai was terrific. The only complaint is it is way too noisy for decent conversation. Of course this is not a problem if you are outside in the heated terrace or at the generous-sized bar. Much went into its recent re-design - it’s a shame more could not be done to muffle the noise. Everything else is close to perfect!

The location is lovely and the food is good, but unfortunately, the service was awful today. The waitress let us sit for nearly 20 minutes without taking an order, she forgot to bring out items and then at the very end of the meal when we should be receiving the offer of dessert or she didn’t come back until we waved her down.

We had wonderful service and the outside table on a beautiful day was perfect but our food was cold when it got to us except for the quiche and it was too hot from being microwaved. It was disappointing….the menu is extensive and we had chosen carefully …it was not worth the money we paid to dine for brunch.

Our level of service was excellent. Sarah, our server, was very knowledgeable, personable, and attentive to the needs of her guests. We also had a fantastic view and excellent food. I highly recommend Jula's on the Potomac.

Different experience in Old Town in an office building. Ambiance and view of Potomac was beautiful. Salmon and Cajun shrimp were great. Chicken was fried but not seasoned well, but cocktails were great. Thanks Nev for your service.

What a view! And a great vibe. We mostly had appetizers and they were fine. Our crab-cake entree was a disappoint, especially because it was expensive. I’ll go back and stick to the drink and starters!

Jula’s is truly a gem — from the food and drinks to the quality of service, everything was perfect. Big shout-out to Kai, our phenomenal server!!! He made the experience very enjoyable. He was super knowledgeable about the menu and his recommendations were on point. I will be back to try the ‘pumpkin spice espresso martini’ very soon.
