The 24th Annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights will take place on December 7, 2024. Purchase a VIP waterfront balcony table to enjoy a front-row seat to the parade and a 3-hour table time. The parade begins at 5:30 pm, but seating begins at 4:30 so you will have plenty of time to get your first round of drinks and apps on the table before the parade begins! In addition to our dinner menu, we're featuring our annual pre-order holiday charcuterie board and tableside s'mores. Please note, we cannot guarantee Alexandria will put on the boat parade. In the event of rain or severe weather, we reserve the right to cancel. If we cancel, you will be provided a gift card in the amount of your non-refundable table purchase.

We're kicking off Alexandria's biggest holiday weekend with our annual Boat Parade of Lights party! Ticket price includes a Welcome Beverage (apple cider mimosa), DJ Lanie B spinning Christmas Hits, Open Access to the Terrace, Reserved Indoor Table from 4:30-7:30 pm, and a Prize for the Best Christmas Sweater. The parade begins at 5:30 pm, but seating begins at 4:30 so you will have plenty of time to get your first round of drinks and apps on the table! Tables are assigned at time of purchase. This is a non-refundable, 21 and over, rain or shine ticketed event. We cannot guarantee the City of Alexandria will put on the boat parade. In the event of rain or cold weather, we reserve the right to close the outdoor space and move the DJ inside.

Visiting for a friends Birthday brunch, food, view, and staff was great definitely recommend. Great view of the river is a plus.

We've been to Jula's previously and enjoyed it. Last night's experience was barely mediocre. My wife had scallops ($42) and they were not very good. She was certain they were previously frozen - if not, then they were cooked poorly. They had a rubbery texture. We ordered 2 glasses of chardonnay. Two glasses of cabernet were delivered, so we had to send them back. Then when I got the bill I was charged for 2 glasses of chardonnay and 2 glasses of cabernet, so I had to send that back to be corrected. Lastly, the table we were at was quite cold, even with a sweater on. We were disappointed.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I'm so sorry your evening was not up to our normal high standards. We had three servers and one support out that evening, which left the us extremely short staffed. Though we blocked reservations and limited walk-ins, the team was pushed to the limit to keep up with reservations we already had on the books. Our scallops are delivered fresh from our seafood purveyor, so they wouldn't have been frozen. Perhaps they were overcooked. I hope we were able to offer you a different entree to your liking. I apologize for the oversight on the cabernet versus chardonnay. Were you seated outside or were you cold at an indoor table? It was in the 70s this past weekend, so we didn't have the heat on inside. We have heat lamps outside.

Sam was an amazing server. Beautiful day on the terrace! Food and drinks were wonderful.

The food was soooo good! I had the garden omelet with the potatoes. The potatoes were delicious! We also had the truffle mushroom w/ balsamic glaze pizza that was outstanding. We sat at a table with a wonderful view of the water. Our server was attentive and had great energy. We had a great experience and will go back again!

Food was fine but not as good as last two times. Waitress had to be asked to remove items from table more than once.

I'm truly sorry for the missed steps of service. This server usually receives rave review from every guest she serves, so I'm not sure what went wrong. I will be sure to share your review with her to learn more. Please accept our sincerest apologies.

Jula’s was great. We enjoyed the charcuterie board duck, and chicken Milanese. Very tasty!

The setting is beautiful and the staff are all very competent. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best. My chicken milanese was tough and greasy. The pot stickers were over-cooked. My seasonal cocktail, a fall cosmo, tasted like apple juice. Our server was fine, but disappeared for about 10 minutes after we said we would be ready to order in "just a minute." We will go back, but probably for brunch which I tried earlier and enjoyed.

Beautiful restaurant and location. Great menu with so many choices. Every staff member was warm, welcoming and helpful. We will be back.

Once again, had a wonderful time at Julius’s. The food was wonderful our waiter Sam was excellent and the view from that terrace is to die for.
