The 24th Annual Alexandria Holiday Boat Parade of Lights will take place on December 7, 2024. Purchase a VIP waterfront balcony table to enjoy a front-row seat to the parade and a 3-hour table time. The parade begins at 5:30 pm, but seating begins at 4:30 so you will have plenty of time to get your first round of drinks and apps on the table before the parade begins! In addition to our dinner menu, we're featuring our annual pre-order holiday charcuterie board and tableside s'mores. Please note, we cannot guarantee Alexandria will put on the boat parade. In the event of rain or severe weather, we reserve the right to cancel. If we cancel, you will be provided a gift card in the amount of your non-refundable table purchase.

Nice welcome by the hostesses. Beautiful restaurant and very welcoming outdoor space. Our server was a pleasant young man however he should have checked if we needed something shortly after our plates came, my salad needed more dressing and he didn’t check until I was practically done with it. Also, we had to ask whether our teas could be refilled. The food was OK, nothing special considering the cost. I would only visit again during happy hour.

The food was very good but not exactly what I ordered. My eggs were well done not over medium. Bacon wasn’t extra crispy and it was not hot. It was premade. The grits were good but tiny portion. The biscuit was very good. I asked for Mimosa with just a splash tiny amt of OJ, but it was heavy with mostly OJ. The server didn’t come back in time to change things as we had mostly eaten by then. The quality was very good and overall it was very good and we enjoyed being there.

Jula's on the Potomac was amazing. Very kind service. My husband and I sat at one of the high-top tables outside and had a stunning view of the Potomac. It was fun to time the arrival and departure of planes out of DCA. My husband had the Traditional Benedict and I had the Buttered Lobster Omelet. Both were delicious. He also ordered the Peach Bellini and I had the Rosé Lemonade. Both were refreshing. I highly recommend Jula's on the Potomac!

Amazing view! We sat on the terrace ad it was gorgeous! Food is delicious as always and our server, Nev, was wonderful! If you haven't discovered Jula's On the Potomac - you are missing out.

I’m from Chicago, IL and was in Washington DC for a week attending the Congressional Black Caucus Conference. As I was closing out my stay, I wanted some REAL - “MADE WITH LOVE!” Food so I researched and found Jula’s on the Potomac! You guys did not disappoint from the first course to the last! I’ll be back in December and heading your way!!! Thank you for such fine dining and tasty eats! Dr. Hayes, Chi Town

The setting was nice, the food good and the service wasn’t bad. That being said, it was pretty pricey for what you got and the drinks were expensive.

The view from the balcony was stunning, we got lucky with a very nice weather, food was amazing, starter of charred octopus and burrata was delicious, totally recommend, then brown sugar citrus salmon and honey fennel roasted duck were very good choices, service was hospitable and overall great experience

Overall the food was just not good. Everything from the appetizer (crab dip) to the entrees (pasta & salmon) was not prepared well or high quality. It's a shame because this restaurant has great ambience. I expect more for the price and level of the restaurant. They rest on their laurels with the nice view. Overall really disappointed and cannot recommend.
