"Judges restaurant and cocktail bar, formerly known as The Sun, is situated in the beautiful village of Northaw on the village green. This landmark Grade II listed building has, over many long months, been lovingly restored to its rightful glory. With a modern eclectic European and British menu, Carlos believes in sourcing local produce from artisan suppliers, where the provenance and quality of the foods are fully traceable. Whether you’re enjoying a glass of something sparkling under one of our chandeliers or having a scrumptious afternoon tea by the log fire, our bar and restaurant mix period features with modern day elegance, creating a memorable dining experience. Our cocktail bar and lounge areas are the perfect space for just popping by for an espresso martini or a light bite. Fabulous find that’s so close but I didn’t realise it was there before. Great food and very generous portions. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will spread the word and bring family next time.

Love the place and the ambiance and great menu Was disappointed when mixed vegetables turned out to be beans and arrived 10 minutes after our soles Will go back but not in a rush

Wonderful evening, friendly staff, amazing food and the magician was brilliant!!! He came over after we ate and it was a perfect finish to a fab night.

Normally Judges is always very good but this time we were put in a side room. Services wasn’t good, had to keep chasing for our drinks order and my sides were completely forgotten. Realise need to be in the main restaurant.
