Great date night spot. Mood as you enter was lively and fun. Greeted nicely at the door and service continued to be on point throughout the evening. Drinks and food were phenomenal. Started with a drink special the "Michelangelo" and a spicy Margarita, both were great. Shumai and French fries for appetizer. I have dim sum a lot and the shumai here were delicious. We sometimes judge a spot solely on their fries... well on that alone this place wins. The fries were so good! Mains we split the mushroom ramen and mushroom pasta. Wow... One of the best ramens I ever had! Homemade pasta was good as well but I wanted another bowl of that ramen. We saved just enough room for a dessert. The churros here are to die for... crunchy outside with creamy texture on the inside paired with a caramel miso dipping sauce. Yum! Thanks J&M for a wonderful dining experience we'll be back soon.

Juanita & Maude is the best restaurant in the Berkeley/Albany area. The food and cocktails are fantastic. In terms of the quality and energy, it has NY vibes. But it also has a homey character with the same great people always working there. Pro tip: The outdoor patio is a hit no matter the season.

Love coming here. Brought an out of town friend and she love everything, from the friend,y staff to delish food and awesome desserts.

This lovely restaurant has become our bistro. What a fantastic staff, lovely food, welcoming atmosphere. We feel so happy and relaxed coming here for dinner on a regular basis. This place is a gem.

We find ourselves dining at Juanita & Maude regularly these days, this evening was in celebration of our wedding anniversary. Not sure if it was the occasion or not , but everything was amazing from the Cava Rosé to the key lime ice cream sandwiches. D-E-L-I-S-H! Wine - Cava Rosé - Vermentino di Sardegna - Morellino di Scansano Appetizers - Late summer figs & curry spiced chèvre - Heirloom tomato tartine Entrees - Smoked beef brisket & creamy polenta - Grilled hamachi & cold noodles Dessert Ice Cream Sandwiches My compliments to the kitchen!

I have been to Juanita & Maude many times over the years, but it has been a while since my last visit. It was just as delicious as I remember. Food is always well flavored, unique and beautifully presented. Cocktails are delicious and whimsical. Love the outdoor space. A favorite special occasion spot.

There was a small child riding a bicycle in the property behind your patio. It was not enjoyable to have to yell over the child’s loud 3 wheel vehicle.
