So bummed about our experience tonight. This was our go to sushi restaurant because they were so accommodating to our GF needs. Arrived tonight for dinner to find out their rice is no longer GF. They now use a vinegar that has gluten in it. We unfortunately had to leave because of this. The server offered us sashimi and salad but that wasn’t a solution we were open to today. Hopefully they read this and change the recipe back. Beware if you are GF (my daughter is Celiac, thank goodness I asked)

food delicious, disappointed they didn't have Toro or Uni or quail eggs, but plenty more to choose from. I selected a seasonal fish for sushi, which was tough, not buttery as described. They couldn't be more accommodating to either substitute or remove from the bill. King Salmon was outstanding. Salmon skin hand roll arrived crispy, seaweed wrap and salmon skin. That's the way it is supposed to be and rarely is at other restaurants. Gyoza excellent. Fish fresh, staff is so responsive and nice.

Be careful what you order for rolls. We ordered an aloha roll and it was so spicy. We couldn’t eat it. We couldn’t figure out why it was bc it’s not supposed to have any kind of heat in it. We broke it up and it had jalapeño! Ruined the whole roll

The best sushi I’ve had in Sarasota. Very fresh and beautifully presented. Sorry they didn’t have Toro or Uni yesterday but plenty of other wonderful fresh fish to choose from.
