   Those having afternoon tea were seated in the lobby bar and not actually in the restaurant. So were sat with guests having a drink while checking in. The guests weren’t a problem at all, but I don’t expect to sit in the lobby bar having afternoon tea. We had afternoon tea with bubbles, but it was the smallest glass of fizz ever. The selection of sandwiches was poor, there was only a fruit scone, and not a cheese scone. The cake selection was okay but nothing wow. Overall very basic and I wouldn’t go back or recommend

   Our waiter, Jordan, in Jozef’s restaurant was oustanding. Very welcoming and friendly, gave excellent service. We’ll be back again.

   This was the second time we ate in the restaurant. Sadly it was not as good an experience as the first time. The service was slower and we had to chase up our drinks which didn't arrive until after the meal was served. The food was quite nice but over-priced. One meal was an open lasagne which was more or less mushrooms and a small amount of asparagus in a creamy sauce with seemingly only one sheet of lasagne. Although it tasted ok it wasn't worth £18.95! Also don't agree with being charged for service although we did pay it and didn't dispute the addition. Some of the waiting staff do a very good job whilst others don't seem to know what they are doing or maybe lack training?

   Lunch menu was lovely, great choice of lite bites and the location was great to continue a relaxing morning/afternoon leaving the spa. The food was very tasty and very glad we had booked for lunch.

   Thoroughly enjoyed the food and the experience after a long drive. Excellent view and the waiter,Jordan, was very attentive. Would definitely eat there again.
