Warning to future diners. AVOID the main floor oval banquet next to wood fire oven. You and your guests will get cooked by the heat. Our server was dripping sweat (it was a busy Saturday night, but… really?). We had a reservation but couldn’t change tables until halfway through our dinner. No one should be made to sit at that table.

Thanks for providing just a great evening all around. Ambiance downstairs was incredible and service was top notch.

We loved everything from the drinks, to the food, and the dessert. I appreciate how accommodating this place is to wheel chair users. We will be back!

Jovanina’s was recommended by a friend and we were very happy with the food, atmosphere and enjoyed a great meal. The only thing that was a little “too” much was I felt like our server was a little “urgent” in us opening up the table for another serving opportunity. We arrived 15 min early to our 7 pm reservation and left the table before 8 and moved to the bar as we felt that was what our server wanted us to do.

Great food! Great service!! Only downside was having tables way too close together making for a loud, non-intimate experience in a very lovely space.

I hadn’t been to Jovanina’s in a couple of years. The food quality was not as good as I had remembered. The wine list is lovely. We had a great bottle of Italian sparkling. The focaccia was good, but I missed the pickled mustard seeds they had in the past. Our salad was good but had some sad pieces of endive in it that should not put on the plate. The lobster pasta was excellent, the pesto pasta we ordered was overcooked, but had good flavor. It was not great. My last visit had been great.

Great experience and last “boyfriend and girlfriend” meal before I proposed to my long time girlfriend. Thank you for setting the tone for the rest of this unforgettable night!

The previous times I've been here were wonderful. Service was a little slow, but I think mostly due to being a couple seated next to a table of 12, but we weren't in a hurry so it was fine. We had to request refills of water more than once (despite other tables just getting a bottle of water on their table for some reason we did not.) The grilled figs were wonderful, the lobster paster was nice, but the fennel sausage pizza was inedible. They've clearly switched the GF crust they use and it was somehow overcooked in the edges and raw in the middle at the same time. It was so spicy we could barely stomach it, and we like spicy! This was my favorite thing on the menu before and between the two of us, we barely ate a quarter of it it was awful.
