The typical Dutch cosiness means in countries around the Mediterranean 'together'. Taking time for each other around a table full of small dishes and enjoy a glass of wine. Each ordered an average of 3 or 4 dishes per person and then everything on the table is shared socialising. Our chef roams the market looking for seasonal products and likes to combine local produce with Mediterranean spices. In Jottum is preferably cooked with organic, fair trade, and fresh produce.

Lovely meal, well paced and attentive service. High quality food with great presentation. I would have liked the sangria a little less sweet (but I still ordered a second on lol!) Quiet, away from all the tourist traffic

Wonderful little restaurant in a quiet street, delicious food, the burrata was delicious (everything was)! Fresh, tasty, great service, perfect for date night or an evening out with friends.

Friday night small plates dinner. Particularly enjoyed their version of a charcuterie platter as a starter, vegetarian empanadas and lightly spiced chicken skewers. We’ll keep Jottum on the list for future visits!

This is the first review I have ever given despite dining extensively in many countries. I am not big on reviews but for this restaurant I will make an exception . My wife and I both felt this was the best restaurant experience we have had in years. The food was excellent. The service was excellent. The ambience was excellent. When we are back in Amsterdam we will definitely come back.

What a great find. I cannot recommend highly enough. We really enjoyed the service, food and wine here and we will definitely be back. I will particularly call out the Pollo a la Plancha, which was exceptional. Wonderful meal.

Outstanding service and delicious food. Every bite was wonderful! We were a large group of 9 people and the staff did everything they could to help us get in and out quickly so we would not be late for our Anne Frank house tickets. Highly recommend!!

A great little tapas restaurant. With good service and good communication. All the food we tried was outstanding, but my favorite was the tenderloin and the chicken thighs. Good value and nice wine.
