JOTORO Kitchen + Tequila Bar is located at Sparkman Wharf in downtown Tampa. Michelin Star chef and partner Joe Isidori has created a Mexican mash-up menu inspired by East LA with fabulous Asian twists and turns.

Whether it's date night, late night, or your next event, JOTORO is your perfect place. We like to say JOTORO is where mariachi meets old school hip hop. Our bar serves up hand-shaken cocktails, craft-batched margaritas, and over 50 labels of premium tequilas.

JOTORO is a full-service, 220-seat eatery that feels like a neighborhood taco joint featuring a comfortable and rustic feel with one of a kind eclectic art designed exclusively for the space. We have created two outdoor covered patios that flank the prime corner of Sparkman Wharf, which is the perfect spot for people watching and dramatic views of the skyline at night.

This place was meh. The food is subpar for the price. The server was amazing. I booked a reservation for 5:30 and my dinner mate showed up late. One at 5;40 and the other at 6:00. She was so nice and kept checking up with me. I ordered my drink and look at the small selection of food. Chip & salsa was extra! I mean ok. My steak bowl was more sauce than steak. The steak was swimming in the sauce I could barely find it. I wanted to try their butter beer margarita and that wasn’t available. I asked for utensil and they don’t have any available they were being wash. Guacamole wasnt flavored well. Will I come again, probably not. It’s not like they are hurting for business it’s always packed. It’s a happening pace.

Fantastic food and service! Our server was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! Definitely get the trio of guacamole, queso and salsa - ALL great! Had the Mexican Cobb salad, KBBQ tacos, fajitas and burrito bowl - everyone loved theirs.

Food was good. Cocktails were excellent and the our waitress was friendly. She made the experience for us.

We arrived earlier than the reservation but they were still able to seat us. The waitress was very attentive and accommodating. Our appetizer had to be replaced and they came out with a new order quickly. The sauce on my tofu enchiladas was a little too salty but overall all the food and drinks were good.

For being in a tourist area right next to the cruise ships, I give this place a very good for the food.

We were surprised when our bill came as we were going to order another round of drinks and dessert. We were never asked or given the option and our server disappeared after we paid.

Standard Mexican fare - nothing too special. Several reviews I had read pointing out how they needed to cut back on the salt apparently fell on deaf ears : my chicken enchiladas were way too salty. My wife’s Asian shrimp with slaw would have been perfect if chef wasn’t so heavy handed with the dressing. Sometimes less is more…Hard for me to give the ambience a highly favorable rating when a woman sitting at the bar near our table was vaping. Why would this be tolerated ? This could be a special place if more attention given to details.

Waiter, I believe his name was Hector, was great. Very attentive. Found some of the meal to be salty, example; . Refried beans, creama cheese.
