    Jota is the best. The food was amazing and the staff excellent. The Valentines menu was fun and the chef really creative. Great experience!

    The place is beautiful, I am a frequent customer of their restaurant and part of the family of one of the owners. The guests and I are disappointed in the management and treatment. I booked for a wedding celebration dinner through the open table app and specified that it was only to complete marriage documents, not a ceremony or activity worked on by a coordinator. Even if there was another dynamic I would have liked to have been informed in advance. Thank you for everything!

    We’ve been dining at Jota for the last 10 years. This was by far the best service we’ve had there. The ambience is always amazing. It’s a beautiful place. Our group had several cocktails, beer and tea. The cocktails were not as good as we were expecting. For food our table had beet carpaccio, pizza, duck, whole red snapper, chicken and spaghetti Bolognese. The beet carpaccio was well enjoyed. The pizza was very good. For a main dish the duck was a small portion. The red snapper and chicken were salty, but cooked to perfection. They were crispy on the outside and tender and moist on the inside. The bolognese was good but not something that we’d order again. Overall great dining experience and definitely recommend.

    we have been here for brunch a few times and have a feeling the kitchen staff has changed hands, possibly. even though our food was quite good, i could have used a steak knife to cut through the avocado toast. the bread was really tough in texture. the service was exceptional and everyone was very polite and friendly in both spanish & english. aprendiendo español y necesito mucha practica :) all in all, one of the most serene and beautiful spots on the west side if you’re looking for a quiet spot for brunch. don’t forget to walk the grounds. the gardens are espectacular and there’s a peaceful pond with koi and a cheeky turtle.

    Took 1.5 hours to get two entrees. Great location, food was ok. Go elsewhere or be frustrated!

    We were pretty disappointed in our dinner experience here. We were not provided any napkins even when we asked for them - we got up and found them at a server station ourselves. The dishes came out at different times. The food came before the drinks. The main dishes were cold and came out one by one. The desserts (flan and souffle) came out ten minutes apart. They said the coffee machine was broken even though we saw servers walking past our table all night with coffee. I live here and unfortunately will not be back to take visitors again. I recommend Porcell or Flora or Reina Mora instead.

    We went for our anniversary and had a great time. The food was out of this world delicious and the ambiance was satisfyingly calming and beautiful. Thank you for an amazing experience.
