We dined here while passing through Albany on a road trip after reading the great reviews. The food and drinks were unfortunately a huge disappointment. I had the Fall Secco cocktail and we ordered the buffalo cauliflower, Brussels sprout salad, bucatini ragu, and mushroom pappardelle. The cocktail was disappointing, it tasted like juice and seltzer. The Buffalo cauliflower was mushy on the outside and very oily - there was a huge puddle of orange oil and my spouse wouldn’t even finish it. The Brussels salad was fine and the mushroom pappardelle was good, very rich. The bucatini was inedible and we sent it back, something we haven’t done in 5 years of dining together, but we were in agreement that it was way too chewy and springy. It was a replica of the first time we tried to make handmade bucatini and trust me that’s not what you want to get at a restaurant! Our server was very nice and did remove it from the bill. Atmosphere was nice and service was nice, so it’s a real shame the food did not live up to the hype.

Another outstanding brunch at Josie’s. We were seated promptly by attentive staff and chose to dine outdoors on this lovely day. I ordered the Farmers Breakfast with sweet potato hash- it was divine! Try it! So yummy. Mom had the brioche French toast- outstanding - with fresh berries and not too sweet. Just perfect. Light. We love it here so much. Excellent dining; artistic and delicious - great service. I love that Josie’s takes reservations. Many brunch restaurants do not!

Food was amazing as always and our service was excellent! Our favorite place for Brunch! Very accommodating for our 1.5 yr old as well! Farmers breakfast with the sweet potato turkey hash is the perfect size/perfect meal for brunch! It’s our absolute favorite! Another favorite is the mermaid tears cocktail! 10/10!

A wonderful experience. The specials were very good. Truffle fries were unique and delicious… hot, crispy with just enough seasoning. The server added chocolate syrup to the cappuccinos and created a delicious beverage which was a special request and not on the menu.

The meals were fantastic and service was attentive. Lighting was very bright, some dimming might improve the ambiance. Overall I would recommend and return!
