Went for lunch at 11:45. Seated promptly (had reservations), waiter excellent, food was very good. Very nice atmosphere. Will definitely return.

Ordered bar drinks, cauliflower appetizer, wedge salad and prosciutto pizza for three to share. All were wonderful and delicious. My only advice would be to remove old drinks and plates when finished. Dirty dishes sat on the table for a long time. When a martini was replaced, the old glass wasn't removed. I asked for salt and pepper as it wasn't on the table, and once received, there were no peppercorns in the mill and I had to wait until I saw the server again to replace it. Overall, a good experience, tasty food and friendly staff. Just a little constructive criticism.

The food was delicious! Everyone in our party enjoyed their meal and drinks. Our server, Karen, was fantastic! She was attentive, friendly and engaging. Can’t wait to come back!

We went for lunch with friends from out of town. Start to finish everything was great as usual—great service and great food.

Very nice lunch selection. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. Can be a bit loud sitting in the front area.

Josie’s table is always good. I didn’t love my entree but that’s honestly the first thing I haven’t enjoyed there. Cocktails are always fabulous and apps were greatly enjoyed. As one of the last reservations, it was apparent they didn’t want to stay to accommodate. Meeting acquaintances that we have not seen in ages who were traveling in from far away, we needed a later reservation 8pm) as they drove 3.5 hours. While I don’t agree with hanging at a table for hours upon hours, why as patrons, do we have to cater to restaurants (and young servers and kitchen staff) preferences as to what time they’d like to be done with their night? Ever since Covid, it’s become more & more difficult. And I am a former server & bartender who even worked for this restaurant owner in my 20’s! The culture and work ethic was different then. I’ve been to fine dining restaurants where entrees were rushed out because it’s later, with the expectation of we will take the 8pm reservation but the kitchen promptly closes at 9. This night at Josie’s, there was no dessert, coffee, after dinner drinks offered. Only “Can I bring you anything else?” Which is restaurant speak for “I’d like to bring you your check and get you out of here”. We talked there for another 30 minutes as our friends were going to their hotel and flying out early so they should have just sold us dessert and they would have had a bigger check and we would have felt more welcome. (Music turned off, staff busily and noisily nearby doing setup/sidework flashing looks to our table…it was noticeable). Not sure why, we, as patrons, should be the ones who feel uncomfortable. If you take a later reservation, still expect you will be there for 2 hours in “fine dining”. Especially when you notice the pace is slower because people are talking to each other. They are serving, we are patronizing.

The service and food was excellent. I had the half chicken which was moist and very flavorful. Everything was perfect.

Our anniversary celebration at Josie’s table was wonderful. The food was great and fresh, especially the chicken and buffalo cauliflower.
