    We booked a table in advance after viewing the menu online. during our arrival used the QR code in the room to revisit the menu. On arrival at the restaurant we found the menu had been replaced with a new menu which had very limited vegetarian and pescatarian options. I asked if there was a vegetarian menu in addition to the new menu which there was not. The waiter pointed out that the new menu did offer garlic bread and soup!!! Not the dinner I was hoping for! We ordered our meals and double gins. When the gin arrived these were single measures which I questioned and which were quickly changed for doubles. We’d ordered the bread and olives to share (very nice) We’d ordered the superfood bowl which was hugely disappointing. It looked like the kitchen had run out of all the ingredients apart from the quinoa! Very bland in taste! Around a dozen pomegranate seeds and edamame beans and a small amount of broccoli. Did not enjoy this and even with the added salmon this was just too bland. My friend ordered the halloumi with hers and found the cheese was flavoursome enough but the rest of the meal over run by the quinoa. We did not order dessert. All I ask if that your menu is updated. I booked the restaurant with the online menu being offered and was looking forward to the goats cheese tart and sweet potato curry. If you continue to offer the superbowl then make sure it’s actually super!!! Staff were good and attentive but a poor show food wise.

    Staff are helpful, friendly and polite. Tick all the boxes, will come again. Super breakfast and dinner service.

    The food arrived only warm and I had to ask to have it heated up. I had to ask for ketchup 3 times before getting any

    The service the was amazing , an the food came very quick and was such a great range of food to pick from and was very good food, will defiantly eat there again next time I go

    Overall the food was nice, when it arrived. We waited for over 45minutes for my kids crudités to arrive. When it had arrived there were cold cucumbers and hummus as expected but it also arrived with boiled to death warm carrots that looked liked they’d been pulled directly from the ground. We did get a refund for this. Not sure how a restaurant could get a kids crudités starter so wrong. We then waited another 30 minutes for the mains to arrive of which 2 dishes were salads. We didn’t order desserts in fear of how long that would take. It’s a shame because the hot food we did order was good - it’s just a shame about the slow service.

    Given the restaurant was not busy and we were eating early with the kids, the service was appalling! We had to order drinks about 4 times, with the clearly under-trained teenager not knowing how to operate the ordering tablet (or appearing to understand how ‘service’ works). 4 meals/dishes for 4 people, 2 from the kids menu. We made it very clear that the ‘lighter bite’ option for one kid was his main (only) course but, despite this, it came out about 30 minutes before any other food. And, indeed, about 20 minutes before our drinks. So, 40 minutes after ordering, we had the wrong drinks and one dish of food! Looking around the room it was clear that at least 4 other tables (out of about 6-7 in total) were also crossly complaining. Eventually a non-teenager member of staff (possibly the manager but he didn’t actually introduce himself properly) arrived to apologise and offer us free drinks - which we accepted. Sadly, when the food did arrive it was fairly poor (to low-average at best). Despite the free round of drinks, I was disappointed to see that the G&T I had initially ordered - and arrived 35 minutes later- only to be the wrong gin, was still included in the price despite my having been guaranteed it would also be comped. I frankly could not face complaining/querying further and so we just accepted a loss on this one. This restaurant is part of the Stoke-on-Trent Doubletree by Hilton Hotel. I won’t elaborate as this is a restaurant review but the hotel experience was also pretty awful. It’s been hot weather this week but the room (a large family room) was approx 5-10 degrees hotter than the ambient temperature, with no A/C and no explanation, apology or refund! In checking out the receptionist just seemed embarrassed and refused to ask how our stay was!

    A very disappointing experience. The batter on the fish was about 2 inches thick. I had to scrape off the uncooked underside which was just gloop. None of us enjoyed our meal and we will not be returning or recommending the “restaurant “ to others.

    Food was lovely but unfortunately very slow service waited 45 mins for food after ordering. We were going to order dessert but no server's came round to remove plates or ask of we wanted anything else. I had to go to the main desk to ask for the bill which was also incorrect however this was sorted when we asked about it.
