The Story of Josephine’s
The story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

As usual, the food and service were impeccable. It was a little noisy, but it was a Saturday night. It will remain our favorite Lancaster restaurant.

Food was excellent. Chef and server managed husband allergy with no reminders needed. Highly recommend!

Superb experience from drinks, appetizers to dessert. Service was attentive and helpful in describing the special and entree options.The duck was prepared and presented to perfection and the lemon meringue was a work of art. Highly recommend the restaurant for any special occasion.

Very attentive service but not overbearing. Took the time to acknowledge my mom’s birthday to make it special. Outstanding wine recommendation for our meals.
