The Story of Josephine’s
The story of Josephine’s begins during our executive chef Daniel LeBoon’s childhood. At eight years old, working for his father’s catering company, Daniel discovered a passion for food. This love — and undeniable talent — saw him intern at Philadelphia’s prestigious Le Bec-Fin. He went on to work in Paris at the venerable Hotel Vernet working under the renowned chef’s Alain Solvere and Alain Ducasse. In 2004, Daniel purchased Josephine’s in Marietta and developed an extremely loyal following based on the combination of great food, great atmosphere and great hospitality. Although Josephine’s closed in 2011, the name and the experiences are fondly remembered by countless people.

    It was my first time back to Josephine’s since they moved downtown from Marietta. We came for my husband’s birthday. Everything was wonderful from the personalized menu to the excellent courses. Beautiful presentation. Generous portions. Perfect balance of flavors and great service. We’re so lucky to have a first class restaurant so close to home. It was very nice to be able to talk in our normal voices and hear each other! We will be back! Thank you!

    Josephine’s is a wonderful dining experience, from the 50s-Hollywood décor to the top-notch service and incredible food. For a special occasion, it’s hard to recommend a better restaurant in Lancaster County.

    Our dinner at Josephine’s was beyond compare. From the very attentive service to the farm to table meal choices, we were very impressed. The pricing was a bit surprising but after finishing a superb meal we agreed that spoiling ourselves with this scale of attention was worth every penny.

    Josephine is truly a great restaurant if you’re celebrating something special. The service was super. The food was five stars and I’ll be back on the next big occasion.

    The restaurant is beautiful, clean, and impeccably maintained. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient. Last but definitely not least, the food was excellent!

    This is an outstanding place to celebrate a special occasion. It is pricey but what you’d expect for a gourmet experience. Our server Hunter was outstanding and our meals were exactly what we hoped for..
