   Are on the patio , service was excellent, the pancakes and lox’s were delicious. Best I’ve had in Austin.

   Any other time I would have raved about their menu, I am hoping it was a one time slip on a dish we love. We started off with wine and cocktails and then ordered the Roasted Beets & Feta that had a unique splash of dill in the dish which was very good. We were looking forward to the Berkshire Pork Chop Schnitzel, but unfortunately, it was heavily over-salted. So much that it burned my tongue with one bite. We were tempted to try to wipe off the visible salt because the Pork was cooked perfect but choose to just ask for a remake. We were hoping it wasn't the batter that was salted and just a after-oven salt. Our server removed the plate, we asked for another one but were advised to go for our second choice which was the Mushroom Bolognese and the Red Snapper. Both good but not a Berkshire Pork Chop Schnitzel. Hoping the issue was resolved because we want to return to try it again. We absolutely love the ambiance and service, after all it is a gorgeous spot.

   Delicious and beautiful- priced to reflect the high quality but not too exorbitant for a special occasion or get together

   The pastries were absolutely the best! If you go, you must try as many as you can (we shared at our table) - the favorites were the Nutella Cinnamon Bun, the Blueberry Cream Cheese brioche danish, and the coffee cake. The brunch dishes were good even though the portion sizes were fairly small. The avocado toast was very plain but the other dishes were tasty.

   We had a wonderful dinner at Josephine House. We sat outside on the front patio. The hamachi and beet salad were really good.

   I love JH & eat here almost every week while visiting for a month. My mother raved about her salmon Benedict. Loved our sour dough toast with jam. But it looks like recipe changed for the Huevos Rancheros? The sauce was overpowering, tortilla overcooked & cheese was a stinky cheese which was also too strong. I am a die hard & will be back next week. Will just try something else. Thank you for a lovely dining experience!

   We had wonderful service, cocktails, and food here. Had reservations but probably didn’t need one at 4pm on a Tuesday, as there were only a handful of lucky people enjoying the wonderful happy hour. The beef tartare was delicious, the Josephine House burger was incredible, and the Brussels sprouts were cooked perfectly. The portions are great! The cocktail to try is the Luxe Botanica, but the Spiced Crescent and Mezcal Razorblade are top notch as well.
