The recipes served all have been passed down by her mother to daughter for generations. Angel, Jordyn's daughter, is dedicated to providing her customers with delicious food, made from scratch daily. Rating: 5/10 As someone who loves food and cooking, I had high expectations but was ultimately underwhelmed by the quality of the dishes my boyfriend and I were served. I ordered the lamb chops, cooked medium, but they were delivered medium rare. Additionally, they were coated in an overly heavy seasoning crust that seemed out of place. On a positive note, the portion size was generous—four sizable lamb chops for $30, which was great value. My boyfriend opted for the jerk turkey wings. Unfortunately, they arrived slightly cold and seemed undercooked. That said, for fans of spicy food, the wings did deliver in terms of heat. The sides were a mixed experience. I enjoyed the mac and cheese, which was rich, cheesy, and flavorful. The sweet potatoes were good in texture but had an unexpected smoky flavor that neither of us enjoyed. We also tried the “Summer Soul Chi” cocktail, but it missed the mark entirely. Its grapefruit-based flavor profile seemed off-balance and could use significant improvement. The service and atmosphere were the highlights of the visit. The staff was friendly, service was prompt, and the music created a vibrant, enjoyable setting. However, I was surprised and disappointed to find a 20% gratuity automatically added to our bill for a party of two. Typically, gratuity is reserved for larger groups (4-5 people or more), and I found this practice excessive for just two diners. While my overall experience was disappointing, I did appreciate the generous portions and welcoming atmosphere. I wouldn’t rule out giving them another chance in the future, but some changes in food quality and policies would need to be addressed for a better dining experience.

Service was extremely slow with the bartender being the only server. Took 46 minutes to receive our drink order. It was noted on our reservation that we were celebrating a special occasion however it was not acknowledged. The 20% forced gratuity was certainly not reflective of the service which was received.

The food was excellent! However the staff needs to work on creating a welcoming environment. Immediately upon entering the restaurant the hostess ask “do you have a reservation?” There was no formal greeting. No good morning. No welcome to Jordyn’s. Rather a gruff question about the reservation. I observed this each time a customer entered the spot. Each time it was jarring. There are more welcoming ways to inquire about a reservation they can employ. Additionally they don’t offer coffee or tea…a must if serving brunch.

Jordyn's is always a great vibe with consistently excellent food. The staff is always attentive and the drinks are on point.

I took my girlfriend on a date there we wanted to patronize there business to see how the food was so I order short ribs Mac and green beans first off they only gave me one small piece of short rib and two bones for 35 dollars a plate you think you can except more and the waitress clearly said it comes with two pieces not one it was very salty and that tasteful wasn’t worth my money at all I will not be going back there and also the cook came from the back asking people how was there food not wearing a hair net or anything just very unsanitary if you asked me

Service was slow and food took long time to serve vs other restaurants average serve time Honestly I think they need to hire more people and not necessarily the problem of the servers plus hostess was very aloof and not engaging, food was just ok, can’t see myself returning there

The food was good, however the place is very small and they was understaffed,, drinks was ok as well. The one is Hyde park is better

When me and my fiancé walked into the restaurant, is was definitely a vibe! The choice of music and the energy was on point. The servers are amazing! The food was so good, seasoned, and fresh! Highly recommend!!!! The drinks are everything too!
