Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. This place was a complete vibe. The host Jasmine was absolutely the sweetest & our server omg she was the most attentive and funny server I ever had! I forgot her name I’m so sorry but I’ll definitely request her again. I loved everything about the decor, our meals , and the great customer service. 10/10 will definitely be back!

Jordyn Soul Cafe HYDE PARK Review Arrived at 7pm. Jasmine informed us that there was No liquor license but they will mix your drinks with a beverage of your choice. Water came right away. At 7:04, Devin Our waiter took our order. Appetizer was pot roast empanadas which was (well I'll be dayam good). Catfish, French fries n asparagus for me. Ribeye medium well, red beans and asparagus for him. BTW, the music is laid back rnb you're my angel, maxwell etc. These seats are a luh too short for this high table. My gurwlz are at the same height as the table. So my food is directly in front of my face like I could just shovel it in my mouth right off the table. It's not very crowded either. Mkay. So at 7:30 the food came out, Appetizer is delicious as hayle. Steak was a little underdone but they fixed it. My catfish n fries were perfectly seasoned n not hard cause I asked for it. Devin was an absolute jewel in accommodating us with our needs. Ribeye was seasoned well. Catfish is off the chain. Asparagus is tender n seasoned as well. 20% gratuity is automatically included. But Devin was awesome! The online community was giving such nasty reviews so I had to come see for myself. None of those things were true. They were awesome. 8 out of 10 but that's only cause they don't have a liquor license. I got the peach cobbler to go. I will absolutely be returning.

Outstanding service provided by all staff. The food was excellent and seasoned well. Overall great experience. I’ll definitely be back !

Finally had the opportunity to stop in for dinner with family. The food did not disappoint! Every dish was very good…catfish, shrimp Alfredo, pork chops, short ribs….all great, along with the sides. The server was very nice as well. We will be returning soon!! The only thing I might change is the more explicit music playing while we were there. Don’t stop the music…love it…whether rap, r&b or whatever…just maybe use the version without the cursing or explicit words. Also, wish you served alcohol…I know you’ve heard that already. Until then, we will BYOB. Good job!

Food was tasty! The menu is not current since there is no liquor being served yet. Also, there were no hot drinks available during brunch (coffee and tea).

This place is a MUST TRY!! From everything to the hostesses, waitresses, ambience, and of course the FOOD, this place is AMAZING. My husband and I enjoyed everything from the soul rolls, pot roast empanadas, salmon Alfredo, macaroni, grilled salmon, sweet potatoes and rice/beans, they did not miss! We will definitely be back. I only took pics of the salmon and shrimp Alfredo and my pot roast empanadas as my husband immediately started eating his food it was so good lol.
