At Jônt, we are a team of young and inspired chefs taking down the walls between kitchen and guests and taking you on a culinary adventure. Immerse yourself in a progressive tasting menu focusing on the simple, yet luxurious, ingredients around the world with deep inspiration from Japanese cuisine.

We challenge the seasons, navigate beyond the limits of time and break with tradition— getting playful with process and tricky with techniques at the intersection of place and possibility.

    To me, the best restaurant in DC. Food was beyond reproach. The service was top class. And it didn’t have the stuffiness you’d think a place at this price point would have.

    The food, service and wine service are simply the best in D.C. Going to Jont is always an experience to remember. It seems to get better every time we go.

    Phenomenal experience! The staff is phenomenal, the playlist is incredible, and I cannot stop thinking about the dessert (smoked sweet potato that will forever live in my mind as the bananas foster roasted marshmallow dessert bc that’s what came to mind when I tasted it). I am a savory person, so the fact that a dessert stands out that much says a lot for me. The staff’s knowledge and explanation of each dish was top tier. The lamb course was also a favorite. I have never had lamb that did not have a hint of gaminess. If I could drop by and order the smokey king crab rice as a stand alone dish, I would. To be able to see the food preparation helped me savor and appreciate each dish. I cannot say enough about Jônt. It should definitely have 3 Michelin stars! The creativity snd flawless execution of each course make this a must go to place. Can’t wait to return to see how the menu changes. Hats off to Chef Ryan and his dedicated staff. Everyone is personable and in sync. You can tell the staff care about each other and the customers.

    What an incredible evening and experience! The food, the service and the attention to detail is well deserving of their Michelin rating. The pace was perfect for the amount of food, and the dessert bar was the perfect ending to a fantastic night! I hope to see the wood fire be more encorporated in the future!

    Incredible restaurant one of the Best. Food is amazing as well as service. This was my second time and was as good as the first in every aspect.
