    We went for Saturday brunch. Park Benedict was inedible. Bacon was 1inch thick, English muffin was 3 inches thick and tough. Pancakes were way too thick and heavy. No taste. Kitchen was very slow. Would never recommend or go back. Too bad because pre covid it was a great place for brunch!

    The food was absolutely spectacular. We ordered the price fixe dinner and was pleasantly surprised by how well cooked everything was. The heritage chicken was super juicy, the bread was pillowy on the inside, and the trout was so soft and buttery. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Roy our server was very caring and attentive to our needs.

    I was there for my granddaughter’s 19th birthday I had of course made reservations putting comments that it was her birthday unfortunately I had to remind them

    Food, service and setting were all excellent. We had the 7 course tasting menu with the wine pairings. Wines were quite good, and paired well with the courses. A number of the wine selections were domestic. The food courses were excellent, as were the pre-meal snacks.

    This is my second time at Joni, their service is absolutely 10/10. I came back to try the food. We had the prefix lunch. The tuna tar tar was delicious however I do feel it was missing that wow factor. Maybe a hint of spice. Then it was the braised beef gnocchi. Not a fan of gnocchi but this was absolutely delicious!! And for a prefix meal the portions are more than enough. I do have to say they did fall short with the dessert. We had the pistachio pastry with a raspberry cream filling. I was not a fan, filling was too cold and tasted a bit greasy. I would have preferred a mousse instead however it is a prefix meal. A part from the dessert food was good. I’d definitely have to go back and try their high tea and their a La cart menu.

    Our gathering was in celebration of a 100th birthday. Joni was the perfect spot - historic, elegant and quiet enough for conversation across our whole group. My guests were very impressed by the quality of the food and service.

    Beautiful ambiance and decor. Attentive and professional staff. The savoury and sweet snacks were not bad but I’ve had better at other venues. I like that you could have two separate teas and substitute one for a coffee.
