I stopped in for a quick brunch today, at Jonathan's the Rub, and can faithfully say that this restaurant is rich, with flavor, integrity, and service. The restaurant has a casual flair that is very warm and inviting. Our server Edgar was outstanding, and met every request with great service, even while busy with other tables. The service was only matched by the food, which was top notch. Our meal consisted of the burger, shrimp and grits, pasta del rio, and an order of pancakes, which I would recommend again and again. I will definitely be returning to Jonathan's the Rub shortly to experience more of what they have to offer!

In general food was so salty. Steak was overcooked (they did offer a new steak but we did not ask for it since it would take much longer). Bolognese was with too much sauce. In general the food quality was not what you would expect for a restaurant with that price point. Not going back.

Mrs. JUN I'm sorry to hear about your experience, when people say "not going back" it sounds so angry to me for some reason. I talked to Monika your server for the evening she told me the gentleman at your table who ordered the steak was pleased with the temperature but you thought it looked overdone. He also said it was great after eating. 100% agree the Bolognese has too much sauce and i have rectified that already, my sincerest apologies. Per your notes on your reservation, you wanted a birthday cake which we did for you and it pleased the table. There was also a Cioppino on the table that was eaten so a 1 star for the food hurts. This is a great “Go To” place for lunch or dinner. Great food and friendly waiters. I recommend it highly.

I've visited Jonathan's The Rub at Campbell Place several times, and it's always been a great experience. I love that their menu has great options to choose from and the food is always tasty. The staff is also delightful. Just know going in that a reservation is highly recommended and even with reservations there may be a bit of a wait but worth it. Enjoy.

Had a great dinner, starting g with a well made Cosmo (made with orange infused vodka which very few bars carry) & the Osaka Seabass was exceptional. It was a huge portion & I was not able to eat it all. The mashed potatoes were creamy & excellent as well. I had never had the Greek salad but it was definitely one of the best if not the best I have ever had. Overall, a lovely evening enjoying delicious food.

We have eaten here many times, and it is always excellent. Most recently I had the pork chop, prepared "Gaucho" style. It was wonderful.
