   Mains and desserts were delicious. Kid’s menu v welcome for a place serving such high quality food. Sea views from the restaurant area spectacular.

   2nd visit. The atmosphere and service is good-no complaints. Food was not good nor value for money. To start: Parsnip soup: very watery, very mild taste but light and tasty enough -overall ok. Haddock chilli chowder - tons of chilli and cream to heavy on both, no taste of haddock. Main: Sea trout with new potatoes peas and bacon and chive butter- very disappointing. New potatoes cut in quarters, peas, bacon and tons of onion were made into a cassoulet with tons of cream. Not at all what I expected, tasted like the base of a oniony chicken and leek pie. Salmon was overcooked. Burger came with a coleslaw inside no mention on menu was under-seasoned and the brioche bun was hard and dry like toast Melba. there was no finesse to the fishes this time -overall disappointing.

   The restaurant is lovely, you can eat in the bar or restaurant, also a balcony and seeing area lower down overlooking the sea and bay. Wonderful location, and the food is outstanding, reasonably priced for the quality too. We will be moving over there and will definitely go back to The Jolly Fisherman. P.S the staff were friendly and very helpful

   Overall nice experience and tasty food. Portion of sea trout starter was tiny for charge but nice taste and presentation. Gnocchi were great and again nice presentation. Scotch eggs were nicely balanced and fish pie was tasty although again on the small side . Tasty food, nice ambience, value for money is off on some dishes but overall a nice dinner.

    A wonderful place right on the coast. The food is delicious and the service was perfect.
