Bienvenue au Jolly Fisherman à Craster. Avec une vue exceptionnelle sur la mer, une cuisine faite maison et des ales soigneusement conservées, voilà un pub traditionnel récemment rénové au caractére bien affirmé. Le charme de ce pub historique a été préservé avec soin : les sols en pierre, les plafonds bas aux poutres apparentes et les sièges confortables en témoignent. Durant les mois d'hiver, vous pourrez vous détendre près du feu. En été, profitez de la vue offerte par l'un des « beer gardens » les plus spectaculaires de Northumberland.

Calm atmosphere, lovely views over the harbour and the sea, attentive staff, truly excellent food with a good choice of everything. Elegant dining area. We have been coming to the Jolly Fisherman for years both on our own and with our family and enjoy every visit. It's a real treat to eat here and yesterday evening was for a special wedding anniversary. The sight of dolphins and possibly a minke whale added to the occasion. We also like to sit outside on the terrace with a coffee or crab sandwich if we are passing on a walk or bike ride. A really special place ❤️

As always very nice. Good service. Lovely food and a fantastic view. I do feel though that the menu is not as varied as years past. No steaks for example. Out table was at 6.45pm and lots of things had run out which didn’t help That said it’s always worth a visit.

Outstanding food once again, was a special occasion for us. Celebrating our marriage plus having a family member over from Australia truly made her evening. Sampling the famous crab soup. Even spotted a whale out the window close to the shoreline. Which ended the night in the best way.

The setting and food are fab and the service at the table was good however the person who was in charge of bookings and who showed us to the table didn’t smile at all and was quite unfriendly.

Delicious food with an amazing view. The table service was second to none, with lovely friendly, polite staff. Good value for money and lovely fresh produce. I would highly recommend the Jolly Fisherman if you’re ever in the area.

Food was very average and quite expensive. Service was perfunctory but not rude. The table next to us ordered wine with a screw top, the waiter just plonked the wine on the table without even opening or pouring it, I thought this very poor.

So glad we booked for the Jo;;y Fisherman. Tried my first oyster and it was delicious. Its not a cheap choice but had the outstanding mixed board and some chips to share. Will be back
