JoJo’s ShakeBAR is a next-generation restaurant and bar, and District Detroit’s next go-to spot for hangouts, first dates, and family affairs. Its’ modern, yet familiar, diner experience is grounded in nostalgia and focuses on creative desserts and elevated diner favorites. This location is steps from Fox Theatre, LCA, Comerica and short walk from Ford Field.

Outdoor Patio Seating is available for reservations and walk-ins. In the case of inclement weather, our team will do our best to accommodate outdoor patio reservations inside, but indoor seating is not guaranteed.

The food was delicious and it came out so quick too! Our server was super speedy and nice too. But they play their music SO loud there it's impossible to have a conversation without shouting to the person across from you! If you're looking for a place to sit on your phone because you can't hear anyone else in your group? It's great! But it was a nightmare placing our order because we had to shout it to our server.

Good place for kids, we stopped before a show with our 5/8 year old girls and they had a blast. Food was good, but nothing that I would seek out to return. If we didn't have the kids with us we probably would have dined somewhere else.

Game day, but maybe 80% full for lunch. Service very slow for food; kid up front doesn’t seem trained on where to put people with reservations or who cleans tables. Food pretty good. Don’t get why the “shake” is ice cream you can’t possibly drink… as ice cream it’s good, but it isn’t a shake. Cocktail surprisingly good but zero garnish, sloshed onto my table with no eye contact by random staffer. Bathrooms— can’t believe city allows a place this size to have two unisex one-seat bathrooms. It’s completely ridiculous. Long lines, mostly of people that are heading to stadiums (!). Pretty much in line with mediocre Google reviews. Don’t feel a need to return.

Took over 40 minutes to get our drinks. Wasn't even particularly busy...so no excuse for the poor service.

Great vibe. Friendly staff. Great for families and couples. Location is good! Near sports stadiums and concert venues. The food and drinks are good, but pricey.
