JoJo’s ShakeBAR is a next-generation restaurant and bar, and District Detroit’s next go-to spot for hangouts, first dates, and family affairs. Its’ modern, yet familiar, diner experience is grounded in nostalgia and focuses on creative desserts and elevated diner favorites. This location is steps from Fox Theatre, LCA, Comerica and short walk from Ford Field.

Outdoor Patio Seating is available for reservations and walk-ins. In the case of inclement weather, our team will do our best to accommodate outdoor patio reservations inside, but indoor seating is not guaranteed.

Decked out with eight-foot nutcrackers, giant ornaments, twinkling lights, and an array of Christmas trees, the festive atmosphere will be complemented by fun activities like Ornament Painting, Holly Jolly Mixology, and Gingerbread House Workshops. The holiday menu features iconic creations like the Winter Wonderland Biggie Shake, Peppermint Party Hot Chocolate, and the new Frozen Polar Espresso Martini, making it a must-visit this season!

This place does not actually honor reservations- even if you make them you will still wait an hour +. They are understaffed & servers seem to consistently mess up. I ordered a regular coffee w baileys & they brought an iced coffee. My actual drink did not come until the food came. My husband's food did not come- until we were done! They forgot his food. Very chaotic, seems there is no management in sight, etc. Food was okay for the price but the service & lack of any consistency was troublesome. I doubt we would go back- especially when we had a reservation & the line was around the street- they were not prioritizing reservations at all.

There was hair or air particles in our drinks which me personally thought it was hair and I had a huge party of 27 that had to wait 25 min after our reservation was set because this place likes to over book it seems like and doesn’t care for the people that already pre paid for tables the drinks are horrible the shakes specially, the waiters are nice and the bar is nice they have some good drinks and the food wasn’t to bad but overall horrible experience and not worth the price if your looking for a good time and good shakes go to McDonalds literally I’d rather of went to McDonalds then this this place last night especially for the first time

Service was not great, music was super loud and the food was messed. Shakes were good but overall, I'll not be returning.

The set up was really cool , the food was super good / a bit pricey. The service was horrible ! Waited almost 25 mins for someone to even come to our table to greet us, then during our meal waiter never came back … had to go inside to ask for the bill.

Jo Jo’s is a great place to visit! The atmosphere has a very fun vibe, and they offer ticketed activities such as pumpkin painting, mixology classes, wine glass painting, etc.

Cute place for kids. Service was not great and food was fair. Shakes and dessert what this place is all about.

Waiter could have been friendlier. He didn’t say hello and seemed irritable. It felt uncomfortable to even ask him a question. Still tipped him $20 on $100 bill, but he only truly perked up when he got that tip.

Cups and glass water both were sticky and dirty and even plastic spoons were given sticky and dirty and for the food we ate a bite form each plate and was very disappointed, the atmosphere is nice and the music is decent

Experience was fun but food was overpriced and restaurant was dirty. Everything was sticky or barely wiped down. The place itself is very cool but needs some TLC with keeping it clean
